I need some ranked game tips.

I need some tips on how to progress from bronze up higher. I got put in silver 4 from the first ten games and since then have been demoted to bronze 1. I can never seem to carry hard enough. I usually win a game and then lose two or more. Maybe it's cuz I get counterpicked? Every time I play vayne, II the enemy picks Caitlin, so I have to play really safe and don't snowball hard enough. Just 10 minutes ago i played fizz vs malhazar. We did pretty good early cuz our xin zhao made sure i got fed, but late game mal would just ult me and the respawn timers were insane. Maybe I'm not warding enough? Every game I play I almost never ward so when I go in on that lonely zilean, the entire enemy team jumps on me. Maybe it's because I'm not building enough defense. I almost never build defense and if our team is losing, by the time I do build defense the game ends. Maybe I'm making bad decisions like wasting flash or ignite or my ult.

I'm not sure how to fix these problems becuz solo q and normal draft are too easy. Should I buy more ranged champions and get better at them? Like orianna or ryze? Should I be counterpicking more? I don't have any good champions that really counterpick others except for ryze. Also if I get stuck as jungle and Warwick doesn't get banned then should I always use him? BTW I need some nunu jg tips cuz he does no damage to the enemy early game and he isn't tanky enough. And should I buy more tanky champions? All I have that are tanky are garen and nunu and shyvana.

I'd love to help you, but I cannot help probably as much as you'd want me to because I am just a fellow bronze, and I haven't seen your gameplay. Any who, what I have found is that building defensive items even if you're winning is a good idea. It makes you just so much harder to kill than if you were just 100% glasscannon. Also I think you should improve your warding since you straight out said you don't ward enough, though warding is only half of not getting caught out most of the time. You need to constantly look at your minimap to make sure no one is ganking your lane. Even if you're jungling, you should ward the river or get rift scuttlers, or both which is FANTASTIC for your teammates. So they don't get ganked therefore less deaths which leads to a greater chance to win the game. And since you also thought you may have been wasting flash or ignite or even ult, just learn to ignite/ult only when you can get a kill. For ignite, don't just waste it when you're 5v2ing with your team, just when you catch someone out and you think they may get away, ignite is to secure the kill. I know this does not answer everything and may just be useless garbage you don't want or think you know/have mastered, but this is for anyone who needs advice. Without going into heavy detail and without seeing actual gameplay, the few tips i can give you are. Make sure you're warding plenty, buy the trinket upgrade early, thats free wards. Itemization is key. Yes you're playing mid lane but if you're against a malz you should probably be moving towards an abyssal early for some MR. Gank and help other lanes whenever yours is pushed up or you see an opportunity to help, it's not just the jungler's job to gank. If you push down your tower quickly, travel to other lanes and force objectives, dont be stagnant in a lane where if you push too far you risk getting ganked by someone else. In teamfights as fizz you should be focusing on getting to the carries. That means wait until the malz blows his cd's on someone else. Your tanks in those fights should be the one's taking the brunt of the damage, and you should not be getting ulted by malz unless you get caught out.

LOL Dude before platinum counter picks are irrelevant. Play 1-2 champions in each position you are best with in ranked and play other ones in norms for fun. Don't make the same mistakes twice. Ward, and every game try and add something into your kit until you master it then focus on something else.

You have people trying to help you. Take what they are saying. Something that has helped me is literally just you-tubing videos. If you like a champ, look up a video on how to play them. It helps you understand the in and outs of a champion. Some champions aren't supposed to be tanks. Any and every ADC is a glass cannon. Loads of damage but can be killed easy. If you want to stay alive, make better positioning choices, ward and pick your fights. Go on Mobafire.com read builds and explanations on why they are building those things. If you are against an AD champ mid build a zhonyas for that extra armor if you are playing a brand pick up an abyssal. You can ask people for help all day. Most advice I can give you is to learn a handful of champs. ACTUALLY learn them, ins and outs. Master them. Don't counter pick a champ because the Internet says too. Pick a champ you know how to play and play them smart. If you have to farm under tower until you get strong enough to fight, do it. It doesn't mean you suck you are just being smart.

Thx for all the comments. I guess it's mostly just experience and skill. It's kinda funny though that I usually win when I soraka support. Is it worth learning how to and becoming good at ryze so I can counter champions like fizz and Annie?

heres the link to a replay of my game as vayne. Shes my second most played chamion. Im not too good at her and I still have to learn how to kite. Ive tried kiting before, but I usually panic and spam q and auto attack in the same place hoping the guy im fighting will die. I didnt do very good in this game. Ill play some more games and record them with replay.gg Probably a couple games with mid laners.
