I had a game as Ryze vs Aatrox top lane, and pretty much got shit on. I play a lot of Ryze, so I know how to play him well, but I can't seem to out damage him early game, and he would just deny me farm all lanning phase. I was tempted to stray from the "Ryze build meta" which is to rush tear then roa, but I didn't. If I were to buy a Frozen heart earlier, would that be okay to do? Any other tips as to how to play against Aatrox as Ryze? Thanks
how the actual fuq did you lose to aatrox? no one ever loses to aatrox! he's melee, just kite him with a snare and spell spam ;l
out damage him? wut are you thiiinking, im not saying aatrox is strong, hell 90% of champions can out damage him well you cant, I'll take your word for it.. hardly matters As, Ryze.. I acknowledge that I have a hax mid game power spikes and end game MONSTER.... This is why early game is irrelevant to me, if my champ early game sucks so be it, I'm not gonna force it to work out
I'll cs normally, If my mana pool is healthy and there isnt much the other laner can do to me I Q him everynow and then In this case, that's a waste of mana cuz hes gonna regen it anyway If they are abit more oppressive, Q aids me in my csing rather than harrass
SNARES ARE NOT STUNS remember this, if u snared them but they are standing right nexxt to you they can and will still hurt you, like dafuq... take a step back bro buuut thats only useful for trading the snare is mostly so I can run the fk away turn around occasionally to throw more shit at hims o your snare comes back up sooner
no Frozen Heart wont rush wont save you Aatrox has magic damage too! and if you're saying he can deny you with auto attacks then I'm afraid the problem is neither aatrox nor ryze dont think about the now too much YOU ARE THE LATE GAME CHAMP, you think ahead your early investments will still be RoA and Tear
