My thoughts on Ryze's new Q

So just a thought. The way Ryze is played is being able to dish out the right combo as fast as possible. I don't mind that it's now a skill shot, that's actually pretty cool. But not being able to go through minions, like Veigar's Q does, I think is the problem. He now lacks most of his potential damage, and his whole kit just seems.... clunky? Now it seems like your E is your main source of harass, an ability that's usually maxed last on Ryze. I'm having a hard time explaining what I mean, but I just hope Ryze's damage output isn't effected as much as I think it will be. I think making his Q go through at least one unit like Veigar's would fix some of the problem.
