Wait, so if dashes can dodge the dragon attack, does that mean Kalista can do it at level 1?

she kites the ever loving shit out of drag so...

That looks amazingly difficult and at the same time mindblowingly tedious to do for a full minute. Also, the spears only last 4 seconds, why don't you Rend more often? Animation delay? You could skip an AA every 12 seconds to Rend and probably deal a lot more damage.

JustMyBassCannon1 votes

The debuff lasts only 4 seconds; the number of spears stay until the debuff is gone.

Proof: Rend dealt 859 damage to Dragon (almost exactly twice as much as Smite did). Rend has a base of 20 (+60% AD), increased by 25% per spear (at rank 1). She has 72 AD, so it's 43.2 + 20 = 63.2, +15.8 per additional spear. It would require approximately 50 Rend stacks.

That said, unless Rend actually expunges the stacks, I would also be wondering why it wasn't used more frequently.

Wubbles2 votes

Small correction, Rend is at rank 2 in the video so the stack count is actually closer to 40.

Rend does indeed clear all of the stacks, though it is somewhat more DPS to use on cooldown as one spear per cast will full damage (compared to 30% if you just burn all the stacks at once)

Kamai2 votes

Not only does Rend expunge the stacks, but you also cannot get stacks on it until Rend comes back off of cooldown.

I was worried about the animation throwing my pattern off, it's the same reason I wasn't weaving in Qs. Plus it's always fun to see the big rend numbers after you build up a lot of stacks.

ok so if u take kalista e to go battle dragon u could bascially take dragon at one bc the spears stay in until you stop attacking the dragon

UPfreely4 votes

thats a very risky time consuming dragon, well done though, reminds me of the lvl 1 hiemer solo

Grimspeake4 votes

finally pantheon gets what he deserves! the true dragonslayer going to work!

insaiyanbacca2 votes

this is when these champions get called "god-tier junglers" lol, that was still cool tho

Auz the Ripper2 votes

So I'm assuming WW and Nunu can solo it at level 1

A Retarded Clown3 votes

nope, its attacks hurt like a truck, dodging it is the obly way. i think master Yi might be able to solo it with full as runes

Wow panth. 0 dmg taken when spamming skills. This would transition through all "levels" of dragon buff because i dont think it attacks any faster as you slay it over and over. It would just take longer to kill (unless his damage goes up faster than the reduced damage drag takes).

Yfrappefort2 votes

Obviously they will fix this by preventing his attacks to be blocked/parried.

That abuse case for Pantheon is kind of extreme.

Rock Rockburgh2 votes

Fiora isn't TOO terrible since it's hard to pull off. For Pantheon, make his shield take more hits to proc against epic monsters.

Tryne1 votes

That seems a little harsh. Imagine if you (Pantheon) and your team are fighting the other team over Baron or Dragon, in which case procing your passive could be vital to you securing the objective. I think a better solution might be to not allow Pantheon's passive to block dragon attacks.

Rock Rockburgh1 votes

I may not have expressed myself clearly enough-- hitting epic monsters (Baron, Dragon-- I might have the wrong terminology there?) could give only 3/4 of a stack or something. Even making it take just one more hit against those two creatures would block this exploit. I don't think this would have a huge impact on teamfight power at dragon, because he'd probably be spending a fair amount of time hitting enemy champs instead of the dragon itself, which would be unchanged.

Drunk Rummate2 votes

its a very simple fix, you increase it's attack speed and reduce it's damage to compensate. the amount of damage parried/blocked is less that way.

Earl Eulrich1 votes

or just make it unblockable? it´s supposed to be some AoE-fire, so it would make sense to not code it as an AutoAttack.

Dashes dodge dragon attack?

Welp. Glad I own her!

They will probably make dragon's damage cannot be blocked like this. Otherwise this is pretty crazy.

in case of fiora, it actually seems very close and risky, and requires a good amount of timing.

not to mention, that youre screwed, when the enemy finds you doing it. but in case of panth, yea. i guess thats actually going to be a problem. he just needs to sit there and auto to refresh his passive, and become invulnerable to its attacks.

xxQa1 votes

Whoooaaa cool!

Padagi1 votes

The Pantheon use case is pretty abusive.

It's very likely they will just make it so that the ability cannot be blocked. Fiora is a bit more of a fringe case.

Flemman1 votes

try that with smart support on the other team and it's a sure death

Nicely Done

JustMyBassCannon1 votes

Ah, thank you for the clarification. At each rank, the base goes up by 10, and the bonus damage per spear goes up by +5%, so it's 73.2 + ~22 per stack, which does come out to about 35 stacks. Before considering Armor reduction.

If you couldn't tell, I really like doing the math.
