How to beat master Yi?

Depends on what champ you are playing.

Engage tank/mage? Fk his splitpush, engage 5v4 and win the game directly.

ADC? position in the center of your team, ward around (yes, ADCs have to ward too) and don't let him flank you. He's worst when he has to charge directly at you and best when he can flank you.

Support? Ward around for your team and stun him right when he reaches the outskirts of your team and about to be in Q range of your ADC, which should be right near your tanks too. He then gets blown up super fast.

Bruiser/Assassin? Stand by your ADC to assassinate Yi when he goes in.

cc him or get so tanky that he can't kill you.The only thing he is immune to is slows. Hell just play him a bit. You will find out your weaknesses pretty fast.

Tank or cc or outplay him. Yi has to get fed or is useless. 1 cc and he should be blown up by your team.

Also don't try to 1v1 him, that's idiotic. Treat him as you would "The Grand DUELIST" AKA the shitty version of

he can take multiple ppl easly, as long as they don't came at the same time.....buy thornmail, regardless of ur role if hes targeting u ....its wayy too efficient to pass on. This will basically get rid of his life steal

don't go alone without vision of yi near mid-late game.

his early game is pretty weak, you might even be able to 1v1 him depending on his build and ur champ.

Don't feed him, I know that sounds simple but that's really what it takes.

You dont. The only thing you can do is be more fed or have good cc or peel on your team.

It depends on what role/champ you are playing. But generally it goes like this

Step 1: Look for Yi. Do you see Yi? If yes, go to step 2. If not, repeat step 1. Step 2: Stare at Yi. Does Yi Alpha Strike? If yes, go to step 3. If not, repeat step 2. Step 3: Wait for Yi to re enter combat and appear after using Alpha Strike. Are you dead? If not, proceed to step 4. If you are, gg. Step 4: Target and cast your CC, dmging Spells, and throw things at him. Don't stop.
