Recently I have been playing Kalista more and enjoy her game play but I was just curious on any tips to this champion. I understand her early game isn't the best but unless I am fed I feel I don't do efficient damage. I assume either I'm using a bad build or I'm leveling her skills in the wrong order. I am open to the possibility I'm just not playing her entirely correct. Any tips would be appreciated.

I like to max rend first, and build runaans/bork first. You do good early game damage, easy first bloods. Utilize your hops as much as possible, you basically have a free vayne tumble. Your support can help you farm by hitting the targeted minions, anything that gets killed with a target on it credits to kalista. Make sure when your support pokes with your sentinel passive, you auto the same enemy to proc %hp dmg. Rend only when you can kill or effectively slow an enemy. The more spears, the more damage. Your q can hop you over walls with the your martial pose passive.
e level first. q level second. practice kiting and chasing with her kit. positioning is key. do constant damage and ur e WILL hurt
