How to freeze lane as Tristana?

Don't level E... lol

you used to be able to just level Q first and leave E unranked before the rework, but now since not ranking E is totally stupid, the only way to really freeze the lane as her is to stand in front of the enemy minion wave farther up the lane until a couple start attacking you and then walk into a bush. Because they all clumped up and aggroed onto you, they will focus down the first enemy melee minion from your side faster, which after another wave comes slowly pushes the wave back to you. It is very hard to do with Tristana because of her E, but not entirely impossible.

You really can't freeze as Tristana.

you cant do a true freeze unless you hold off on leveling her E
