Which Champ to buy when you don't want a common champ?

So, I want to here it. As a guy who plays with mostly jg who do I pick for my next champ?

His CCs and utility can be mad but,

Does he have enough damage to clear the jungle efficiently? Considering he only has like 1 way to damage outside of AA.

He has a decent amount of damage from his Q and passive, but also has good sustain from his W. It isn't the fastest clear in the world, but he can clear well enough.

Play standard AP jungle (Nidalee and Eve) masteries and runes. For items, start item 3724 and then go item 3115 to get more passive damage unloaded. Just build standard AP items after that.

challenger is different from low elo.. there is actual team work in challenger

the elo doesnt determine whether a champion is good or not you do realize this right? A player sucking with a champ doesnt mean the champ itself sucks. You can climb with any champion at all. Every single champion is good in its own way. Its the player more often then not that makes people think a champion is bad. Just look at azir for example. If your basing it on elo well even with that logic id have a ton better chance of winning with aatrox/noct/trynd in lower elo then higher. Cause they are very good split pushers and in low elo split pushing is easily done more often then not teams dont respond fast enough

i would. If i enjoyed playing him. I enjoy playing noct most, and most people say hes a 3rd tier jungler, if he even makes it to 3rd tier at all. He works almost the same way as aatrox. Yet i have a 62% win rate with him. I cant just go play kass and get a 62% win rate like i do with noct, cause i do not enjoy him and thus i wont be able to invest the time in learning him as i do with champs i enjoy.

noct is stronger then aatrox 1 vs 1 and in team fights he isn't the same as aatrox at all he has spell shield no sustain easier access to his attack speed AD steriod and a fear aatrox has a knock up( thats useless for extended 1 vs 1 due to the animation) a slow a revive and aoe nuke and range attack speed steriod

um noct does have sustain. Build aatrox with hydra/botrk and just have the damage part of his w he will match if not exceed noct damage(if they both build pure AD)with aatrox passive up. Aatrox can simply use E to absorb noct shield. Honestly watching pure ad builds noct and aatrox fight with an even item build would be pretty fun to watch

LuLu Karma Fiddle kayle rammus zac a lot of top laners can go into the jungle and they'd be uncommon for that playtyle for example trumdle

Nocturne, aatrox, and volibear they're rare and ate only picked when they are above and beyond the BEST, since they don't bring anything that other champions can.

So yeah they're uncommon jungle picks

I know about Noctune, so I am good with him. Fav champ btw. But I am trying to get away from jgs.

I actually started playing nocturne so would love yips sometime ^^

if you want an uncommon fighter, aatrox and voli, but if you want to try being a mage go karthus, or vel'koz, maybe cassiopeia, also brand and malzahar, those are all guys who roughly do the same thing so they never become like meta unless the meta favors that class and then it's like 1 or 2 of the best ones

J4. i rarely see him played. His tank build is really strong but requires not braindead teammates. All your cc, chase, and peel won't help you if your team is retarded. Akali is good jung too. Yas and teemo are also viable jungle, but a little tougher to play.

"Yorick walks into a bar there's no counter." Yorick stalls out all enemy laners. He has zero bad match ups. Galio is a boring laner. He is the best at freezing lane. Mid-late game he is a key initiator for a team fight. But his only counters are AD champs. He counters anything AP based.

K... now that I've had some coffee & my brain understands what I'm reading.

Rumble Besides myself, I've only seen 3 others play him.

Pros -High Damage potential -Good cleanup after a teamfight due to long range ult -Strong slows -Spammable spells -Surprisingly tanky for the amount of damage he deals

Cons -Item reliant -Close range damage spells & horrible melee attack range -Lacks engage/hard cc -No sustain, Hard to split push -High learning curve

To clarify a few points. - High damage potential, most of Rumble's damage comes from his Q which is a cone-shape in front of him. If you have to run from an enemy, you lose most of your damage.

Tanky for the amount of damage he deals, most ap champs that can put out comparable or better damage are rather squishy. I've had a few times I've been able to win a 1v2 when the enemy jungler ganked, but he's in nowhere near tanky as a Garen or Irelia for example. Some of Rumble's tankiness comes from his W which at max blocks 170 (+40% Ability Power) damage for 2 seconds.
High learning curve, Rumble is the only champ to use anything close to his heat mechanic. You have to be in 'Danger Zone' (between 50 to 95 heat) to get the most damage out, if you reach 100% you silence yourself & get some bonus damage on your aa. Heat goes up by 20 every spell & drops 4 times by 5 heat, then drops by 10 heat after that. So it's easy to fall out of danger zone without practice.

If you're looking for an unconventional jungle pick I would go with Diana . Her jungle clear is insane for an AP mage and her ganks are terrifying once she hits level 6. She's also fun because you can go runeglaive or devourer on her depending on your team comp and how fed you get. Right now she is rated #2 in overall jungle performance on champion.gg, which compiles stats from plat+ games.
