Ashe Q + Hurricane + BoRK

So a fully stacked Ashe Q will proc hurricane up to a max of 6 times.

Ashe's Q does not proc on hit effects, but it does on attack effects.

Hurricane procs on hit effects.

Could I potentially get the passive of BoRK through Hurricane 6 times?

Would BoRK be able to use it's passive 13 times on 1 AA? (6 Left Hurricane + 6 Right Hurricane + 1 AA)

What would that do to a super healthy enemy team?

The answer to your question is in the wiki, additional details below her Q. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Ashe

Currently it's assumed that on hit effects are disabled for the extra bolts, but it says pending for test which means that it hasn't been 100% verified.

why dont you just go into a custom, test it yourself and then tell us

Record if possible! I will be doing this when I get home. :)

The only effect the stutter damage her max Q gives that seems to work in theory is the AR debuff on the black cleaver. This is supposedly because black cleaver AR debuff stacks in each instance of physical damage...not as an on hit effect. This allows AD damage abilities to apply stacks of the effects as well as auto attacks. Because Ashes charged Q applies her auto attack as 3 rapid but seperate AD events...a single Q charged auto will apply 3 stacks of debuff for 15% total. A second auto will max it at 30%, and while this isn't as much as Last whisper provides...it is global so your while team benifts from a now slowed and significantly more squishy target.

I predict if this is true in game as it is stated in sources online that BC will replace Ashe's late game AR pen item. She benifts from the other stats more than most other ADC and the rapid ability to apply stacks makes it nearly as good as LW against tanky enemies.

HA

I gave this EXACT reasoning to some kid who was flamming me a few games back for taking it.

I then remembered you can make the dumb see reason.

Hurricane is amusing and rewarding enough to use that it warrants using it. It's also useful enough to warrant using under non optimal conditions in not being totally useless. Basically in a ranked game, tl;dr it's not BAD, but it's a slot you could strategically be using for an item that is BETTER. But I love using Hurricane on Ashe, and will build it in almost every senario I can. I don't rush it, I might a few games if I'm ahead, but otherwise I chose to play Ashe for a reason, so I'm gonna play and build her for the same reasons.

Not sure about the synergy of how the bolts and BoTRK would work but I doubt it would. If you're gonna run cleaver, consider things like Wit's End and Frozen Mallet, and Black Cleaver, all of those on hit effects will proc of the Bolts so with Ashe's passive Hurricane and Frozen Mallet, she can basically in theory lock the entire enemy team from escaping or in theory (dash moves aside) kite the entire enemy team. If you build Hurricane, note is has no Crit, it's just Atk speed and passive. So either directly buy into a 80 AD item after wards or have already bought one before hand. If you start off with a Crit item like Shiv, go into PD next.

If you max q first go with Staik Shiv and crit items. IF you max her w first go with IE and high raw AD items. if you max her e first, you sly dog you!

I wanted to leave a comment here as an update:

I did in fact test this. I had 3 friends stack up hp. I got a BoRK and Hurricane and unloaded a whole burst of Q onto them. It was quite effective on all 3 of them.

I then removed BoRK and replaced its stats with a Stinger and Pick Axe to keep the attack speed and AD that it provides. Everything else was the same except for the BoRK effect. Unloaded a whole burst of Q onto them and there was a noticeable difference. I was writing down numbers, but the difference was clear.

To verify I replaced the Stinger and Pick Axe with the BoRK once more and unloaded a full burst of Q onto them. Again, the results were clear.

I REALLY wish I had recording on this at the time. I will try and reproduce it in the next couple days and drop a link to the video here, but from my experimentation, the bolts DO proc BoRK in this manner.

Q does proc on hit effects. but it only procs it one time.
