Almost every other ranked game I play, someone will die within the first 5 minutes. It's bronze; stuff like that happens. But what really grinds my gears is when a teammate says "gg" in chat after that occurs. It demoralizes the team, and it spreads that individual's negativity to the rest of the team as well, thus greatly increasing the possiblity of said team overcoming the slight early setback and winning.

TL;DR- First blood doesn't mean gg, so don't act like it does :P

I'm almost to the point where I auto mute every player before the game starts because of shit like that. In a ranked pug...there is very little I care for anyone to communicate to me that that can't do through pings and emotes. I don't need your opinion on how you think it's gg. I don't need your opinion on my items or summoner spells or champion. I don't need your thoughts on overly complicated strategies you want to implement In a team of random players who don't know each other and have been together 5 min.

You want me to attack...ping.

You want me to gank....ping.

Saw jungler in river...ping.

Need help at your tower...ping.

Dragins up soon...ping.

Ect ect Ect. There is nearly nothing you can not communicate wth that system that is actually meaningful to mE or anyone else.

Sorry for the Rant...it may seem extream, but it's actually pretty true when you think about Any player who has a fundamental understanding of the game.

Text communication can be very helpful for planning ahead though; especially when you want someone to do something at a certain time.

I agree, I think muting everyone before a game can be very hurtful. I only mute for negativity, spamming, flaming, etc. But I'm always open to helpful criticism from teammates on my build and playstyle and what not.

I agree. I don't mute ever.

But I'll admit I've been playing online games since 1989 in one form or another so my reaction to toxic players is to ignore them. I've had a lot of practice doing that and they don't really bother me anymore.

the ashe in my ranked last night was losing... So she says gg im feeding now dont come bot lane...then feeds, gets executed by tower, meanwhile 5 man push mid lane for 15 minutes...wheres ashe? bot lane getting executed again.
