Soulbinding JG vs Ranged Supp??

When i play support i main fking lux and nami and lulu and zyra And then a bunch of kalistas ult me when theres no tank in the front line and im like wtf am i supposed to do So is it a legit decision to soulbind our volibear jg or nasus top instead of lux support ? Like most often is it worth losing the extra damage passive from sentinel (i think that's the spell) during lane phase in exchange for a way better initiate ?

communication is key

i was soraka w/ kalista and not once did she expect me to get thrown right into the enemy

instead every time I was in danger, she would ult to save me and i would throw myself over a wall or something

and the damage that gets procced with i throw my bananas at her marked targets is just too good

if you're adc with kalista, dont pick such a squishy support

As stated, with Kalista she needs to know when to use her ult. Tanky sup = great intiate / gap closer. However the poke damage you get is superb and is what makes her kit work so well, giving that advantage up isn't the best option imo.

But communicate with Kalista and make sure she uses her ult to benefit since most people see it still has a intiate, great as it is, but it's also a really great bait tool to save your support's ass after they go balls deep for you!
