what actually is a good counterplay to any spell shields banshees are even nocturne and sivir any tips?

um use your low CD skills on them? For example if you have a corki, he can just blow their banshees. If they have a noc/sivir, pretend you're going all in, let them spell shield, and then use ur abilities

Ground targeted AoE DoTs are pretty effective since only the first tick of damage is blocked by and removes the shield item 3023 also works

I use a weaker ability or my lowest cooldown to lead into the rest of my combo. For example on ahri I will use my q to break the spellshield followed by charm and w and back into my q. Break it with a "throw away" ability followed by your cc.

Wouldn't your W be better to use to break the spell shield as it has 3 charges, and each subsequent foxfire does less damage anyway.

Yeah it would be, but if there are other targets around there is no guarantee that any of those charges would hit the spell shield.
