Hello everybody!

Which one is better in what lane and why? What is the best build too? I use both but am not sure. Thank you.

Veigar's easily a much better midlaner, and Morgana's a much better support. That being said, I feel that Morg support is kinda cheap (snare so long your team reports you for going afk) and Veigar doesn't bring a whole lot of utility outside of possibly landing multiple people in his stun. If either of them get fed they become absolute terrors, although you definitely feel a Veigar more than you do a Morgana.

All in all I'd cast my vote for Veigar. I just like him more, and I pretty rarely do badly with him even if I lose lane at first. He's just fun to play for me, one of the few I'll fall back on when I'm feeling a bit stressed and just need to blow some steam. Plus I've noticed that even the people who are getting nuked don't seem to be all that mad when it's from a Veigar because something about being blown to pieces by a two foot tall pint sized terror laughing maniacally as dark power rains down from above...

It's just entertaining for both sides.

Morgana mid is quite strong actually. I don't play her myself but believe me it is a competitive pick.

Veigar is better mid, morg is more of a support.

Veigar, where to start? Farm Q and gg lol no really he's a late game terror i had almost 250 stacks let's just say no one could take me on, stun and droping your orbital within .2 seconds is challenging a pure burst mage vs any ap champ will mean death instantaneously with one R build a standard ap build with dfg if you are struggling vs a tank, dfg rabbadons, sorc shoes void staff, Zhonyas if you seem to get in trouble and personally i like athenes some may argue with mello.

Morg easily can be brought into mid but mainly a support high difficulty especially nailing those spell shields on target all day and zoning out the adc standard build rush zhonyas with a sight stone if support use flash to get in the enemy team R zhonyas and watch your team cleanup****

One time I played veigar and spotted an enemy tank, he blew up so bad I proceeded to apologize profusely even when he said it was fine, sooooo, veigar gets my vote

p.s. FINAL BOSS I MEAN CCOME OOOON p.s.s. 1000+ is such a nice thing...

Edit: standard veigar build would be item 3007 item 3128 item 3089 item 3135 item 3157 item 3259 item 2139 the late game nightmare is real

Morgana is much more stronger than veigar.

Kit analysis

Veigar-

Passive- Works sort of like a chalice, very nice for keeping up your Q farm.

Q- Infinitely scales and scales well with AP, weak spell early but the cooldown on Baleful is low enough to let it not be obsolete.

W- Dark matter is a skill that forces you to take 2 points in event horizon, otherwise they will run off without getting hit. Too many times I see veigar making the mistake of pushing all the way in to the enemy tower. Dark matter is a hard hitting ability, semi hard to land without a good event horizon.

E- One of the strongest abilities in the game IMO. Anyone inside the box needs to choose to tank 1-2.5 sec of stun or be locked in that area for a longer duration to get out, maxing this second gives more utility but less damage.

R- Best Anti-Anything ability out there (except verse certain champs like mega-tanks or sivir). Scales incredibly well and even 'borrows' the opponent's ap to do damage.

==============================================

From his kit, veigar is portrayed as an assassin with some team utility (E). While he has no gap closers or CC besides his semi long cd on E, if he plays right he can devastate mid laners and adc's alike.

Kit Analysis

Morgana

Passive- Spell vamp allows Morgana to stay in lane indefinitely if she has blue/chalice/tear(dont get this)

Q- Long root, high damage, slow moving, large targeting field (sort of like a truck), easy to see, easy to dodge, hard to dodge without vision, easily flashed over makes Q a very balanced ability, certainly the most punishing.

W-This is her main source of spell vamp and uses this in conjunction with Q to even half health an enemy at level 2 if you pitch in a few auto's.

E-One of the most broken abilities in the game, with this status effect on you, you have over 6 seconds to be invulnerable to CC unless they focus magic damage on you, the cooldown is so amazingly low for such a strong ability. You'd think this would be an ultimate..

R-Her high point in her kit, Chains grapple enemies and slow them, SLOW THEM, before rooting them and place and doing damage a SECOND time. The only way to get out of this is to flash or gapclose away.

From her kit, morgana is portrayed as a complete utility support, rarely being able to make those 1v5 plays you see Yasuo or Fizz(please nerf) do. While it is true she has some of the strongest support abilities IN THE GAME, she's tasked with many difficulties. -Not getting caught -Providing for herself AMPLE vision, that means using 150g a back instead of the usual 75 + trinket. -Extremely accurate with skillshots -Good multitasking to know exactly how many enemies can get away from ult

Even through all of this, Morgana's Q-->W-->R-->Q combo is so strong, easily being able to 1 combo an adc.

Morgana is anti-fun but she is safe. I'd rather play Morgana than Veigar, because:

  1. Morgana's snare lasts for 10 years, Veigar's (AoE) stun only lasts for 3~ seconds max rank
  2. Morgana has spell shield, lololol if you're mid lane you're forever safe against ganks if you use your spell shield defensively
  3. Morgana has good engage with ult and zhonyas
  4. Her passive
