No Idea What Champ to Main?

Hello Everybody,

So I've recently spent a long time just searching for a champ that could fit my needs, but I still don't know! (Mid-Lane) I searched for one that fit my needs like, using a spell to move across a wall or away from an enemy, being able to hit ranged, not entirely broken or get nerfed soon, and a team fighter + strong laner (preferably midlane), being able to rise in power and have a good mid/late game, and any other benefit. I have enough IP for any champ, but I don't know which one. I thought about these guys, but not sure: Ahri Fizz Azir Leblanc Lissandra Zed Xerath Please help! Suggestions of any other champions or these are accepted and taken into consideration.

You'd probably like Nidalee. Although nidalee does fall off late game. She has a really strong mid game. She has insane mobility and can mid/top/jungle. Shes a pretty versatile champion with a high skill cap. She'll probably get nerfed within the next two patches, but riot never really hits her hard, so she'll be fine. Another suggestion would be katarina. Kat has a somewhat weak laning phase, but she can snowball like crazy. She is also really fun to play.

Out of the champions you mentioned. I would play ahri. Ahri is getting nerfed this next patch, but she'll still be a strong champion. Would not recommend playing leblanc if your new to the game. Shes a really hard champion to play, and doesn't win many games as well;

For mid lane, any champion with good damage AND utility is a great pick. Azir has a really fun play-style and a good mix of dps and utility to the point where he doesn't fall off late and is still useful when behind. Xerath is also pretty fun if you want to play a sniper-mage and hit people from across the map. His burst is great and even if you get caught out, you can zhonas then UNLEASH THE POWER, devastating the enemy team so your own team can follow up. Xerath is also good at shutting down assassins early as they often lack his waveclear and poking ability.

Just my opinions

Looking at your list of champs

Ahri - strong, but will be getting a nerf soon and you said you didn't want that Fizz - he just got nerfed and some people don't like what it did to him. He's considered a weaker champ now. Azir - He's expected to be nerfed and struggles a bit in the early game, but does scale well Le Blanc - She's tricky to play and isn't great in the laning phase, but does have a strong mid/late game Lissandra - She's been moving top lane more as the mana regen nerfs hurt her a lot, but she's viable with practice. Zed - HE's not a great teamfighter and from what I've read doesn't have the best late game, but he's excellent at split pushing and has one of the best early games for midlane Xerath - wish I could say something, but I know nothing about him. I've never directly faced him or played him.

As others have posted there are more. (Mid seems to have the most champions)

Nidalee - she has a tricky skill shot, and you have to learn 2 sets of skills, but she's versatile. Has wall jump ability. Katarina - Can snowball, but also can be countered by hard CC. She seems to be a feast or famine champ and if she's kept from feeding early she can end up far behind the rest of the team and rather ineffective. Has wall jump ability. Akali - often banned, but can carry midlane. Has no wall jump. Annie - has a very short range and most of her damage is in her ult, but she can do well against some mids. she has no wall escape. Morgana - with the right build she's very dangerous in the midlane. It can fit her better than support as she can use the gold from farming to purchase items. she has no wall escape. Orianna - tricky to use powers with her floating sphere, but powerful with practice. she has no wall escape. Cassiopeia - unless you like a weak early game and having to hit skillshots no, she has no wall escape.

I'm biased as I mained kat for years, but i definitely think kat is both strong and extremely fun to play. She has the shunpo escape, good team fighter (if you time your entrance correctly), very strong mid lane against most opponents, and has a ridiculously strong mid game (and end game, until you're no longer more fed than them at which point she's still alright)

i personally think LeBlanc is still one of the craziest mid laners to play and be against. If you can learn to play LeBlanc and play her well then i can guarentee you will carry games and raise elo easily. her out play potential is huge and her mobility is something you can't pass up especially for someone with so much burst throughout the pace of the game

also yasuo is really good AD champ if your looking for strong out play champs that scale amazingly into late game. I main him and still can't believe i crit for over 1200 on a Q and have 90% armor pen off ult.
