If you were to stack only B.F. swords or Needlessly Large Rods on a champion...
Which champion(s) would be the most effective with them? I heard Katarina is strong with it.

Veigar??
TEEMO
1000 dmg doesnt do anything to 75% dmg reduction. with passive you do 31% dmg, which is only 310. doesnt really bother the tank, so enless youre attacking some noob who has bad runes with no defense, you arnt going to hurt anyone but a glass cannon with 6 needless rods. and basic defence can sometimes be as high as 40%.
Always buy last whisper or void staff as a carry. its just simply 33% extra damage you get from ignoring defence.
And lastly that little bit of defense you buy is a few extra seconds you get in a fight, fighting longer means you do more damage, and its more time your team has before getting out numbered.
Nikkone apparently gets several Needlessly Large Rods on Fiddlesticks in the jungle. Not sure if they still do this, though.
I would think any champ with built in sustain. Its like others said, more dmg doesnt beat resistances and death. Even is you do a lot of dmg per hit think about how 2 hits does twice the damage of 1. So if you have a champ that gains time alive with damage and the sustain keeps you alive long enough to double your dmg output, even if the champ doesnt have the best ratios you could do more damage before death. Just a thought
Edit: I want to add that I can't see doing this with NLR and resisting getting a deathcap
honestly? Riven AD scaling shield and she is still mobile doesnt need AS because of casting Q and W
No deathcap or other upgrades for AP means they wont be able to stack as much where ad is balanced without that
Ahri... Leblanc... Zed.... Almost all of them...
Fiddle for AP, Zed for AD are probably your best bets. I know TSM's Bjergsen has streamed a couple zed games of straight up 6 Bloodthirsters.
