Fiddlesticks out of the Jungle?

Observe name. Profit.

That aside, I KNOW how to play Fiddlesticks -- he's easily one of my best characters, and I'll be main-ing him until I see what they do with Gangplank, God rest his scurvy soul if the team that 'fixed' Skarner is working on him.

But how does he work aside from Jungling and Support? Last hitting with Fiddlesticks is like trying to find a needle in prison -- (often illegal and difficult) And sure, he has his Crows, but those are expensive to throw out there, have a long cooldown and, at best, net you 3-4 CS. Is Ludens a fix for him?

Will get shoved in under tower in mid lane constantly with no real wave clear to keep out, squishy and easy to kill if ganked.

He can be played top as a counterpick but that ruins his amazing ganking. In mid he has weak waveclear.

I feel like he's one of those cheese picks that can catch people off guard in mid lane, his silence is really annoying and he's relatively safe with his fear and drain for sustain, but overall probably not someone you'd want to play mid unless you're a Fiddlesticks main and really know what you're doing, or you have no other champion that you can play mid.

Play him vs akali or fizz. He also destroys almost anyone lvl 1 with his drain. If your jungler is any good, you will be super fed even before 6. This won't work vs long ranged apc like Ori, Xerath etc, you can't beat them

I actually love him as a support.

He's like Annie support, just instead of an AoE stun, he has an AoE silence and a massive PBAoE DoT ult. Also, you only need to build AP and mana regen on him, since you can just pop drain on a siege minion to heal to full in lane (and then cancel it before killing the siege of course).

I run middlesticks - start E and use that to last hit. Works like a charm. He's a great counter to Kat and Yasuo as the moment they close distance Fear / Drain = peace out beaches.
