Darius Support? (Is MF breaking the meta aga -- ugh.)

Hey there, Master Fledgling here.

I'm tired, so perhaps that explains why I think Darius Support could be a thing. To go down the list super fast, he has:

-A multi person pull that works over top of minions so you can't be minion blocked which does zero damage, meaning you also won't aggro turrets -Have the silliest, most powerful ult in the game once you get your stacks on, meaning you can do SIGNIFICANT damage with zero AD built -Passive implies that you want to be around multiple people for more movement, similar to Brand Supp and his ult -If you find it in the budget to build a single AD item, even a tanky AD item like Black Cleaver, you might as well be top lane Darius as far as damaged is concerned -You are frighteningly powerful when you hit level 6, effectively ensuring that you win trades HARD if the opposing duo want to scrap.

And that's about it. There are of course tons of weaknesses, but I feel like this could be a thing in certain situations.

I mean if they have some melee support like taric and an adc who doesn't matter, then maybe.

Otherwise you get peeled.

Draius on support has the same weakness (getting kited) as anywhere else except at botlane 2 ppl can abuse it at the same time. Nope.

Let them kite Darius all day. Meanwhile Darius's adc free farms because Darius exists and demands the enemy pay attention. And if the enemy does engage, DARIUS EXISTS. They are forced to comit to engages because of Darius's Apprehend, and are at caution for going in together because of Darius's q, and he has a slow. He has pressence. The enemy jungler has to consider this as well when he goes in, because support Darius CAN get a triple kill off resets on his Ult.

It feels great btw.

XDDDDDDDDDDDd what all day? he'll just get smacked like a bad kid in school. He poses 0 threat to any adc who has any kind of self peel or has a support with peeling abilities. I'M not saying Darius support is completely terrible as it still better than what 1-2 retard thinks about ceertain "support" champs (cough nidalee and lux) but it'll never cross the "troll" line.

For offmeta supports i personally favour Shen Velkoz

I don't think Darius support would be the best... As people said, he can easily be kited, he lacks any hard CC aside from his E and he has low movement speed to begin with.

What does work, if you're looking for a bruiser off-meta pick is Pantheon support.

He can poke for days with his Q, he's got a hard CC stun on W and his ult can be used to get back to lane faster to prevent the enemies from taking bot tower or can be used to roam/gank mid. He's also naturally tanky and due to his passive, as he can block attacks from the enemy ADC or turret if there's dive potential.

I'll also mention Trundle support. I haven't tried it personally, but he currently has the highest win rate of all supports. Sitting at a 54.6% win rate, which is even higher than Thresh and Janna.
