how early should i get my ie
on an adc edit: to clarify i meant the time of the game not order, this is assuming im going a first item IE

15 mins IE is what you ought to aim at. 12 or so would be perfection maybe but with tier one boots and a Doran's for a start plus maybe some pots, 15 mins is a good time to get it.

Little random fact. If you are running the proper attack speed runes on champs with aa steroids, you can get away with rushing a shiv first item and out trade a IE first item. For example, You are Trist facing a Caitlyn. Every time I play this matchup I always get shiv first and win lane pretty hard. Your Q with attack speed runes is already a pretty big Dps boost, and on top of that, cait doesn't have one. Plus you throw in your E. I mean, she might be able to win the poke war if you don't trade with her, but if you just trade you should always come out ahead.
