any tips on how to play adc
i want to pick up adc but i dont want to get bashed upon just because of a bad supp or just getting outplayed because i dont know what i am doing. Does anyone know tips and tricks with an adc to snowball hard.

CS well, keep range.
Don't do it. Half the time I play ADC I get a super toxic support player who criticizes every mistake I make. So I just say "anything but ADC" in the chat. Also you get focused
Caitlyn and Ashe are good champions to start with if you are new to the role. With those champions you can focus on farming in lane and poke your enemy with your long range abilities.
Whenever I play ad carry, I have 2 priorities in teamfights:

Stay alive.

Deal continuous damage.
As ad carry, you are the highest sustained damage output champion on your team, especially to objectives like towers, dragon, and baron. If you are alive at the end of a fight your team is in a very good position to press your advantage, whereas if you are dead your team is not able to do much other than recall and buy items. Always prioritize staying alive highest, and try to always be in a position where you can dps the other team from a safe distance. Even if you can only hit their front-line tanks, it is better to be dealing damage to tanks from a distance than dying to them while trying to hit squishies.
Enter a teamfight last. As much as you may want to get in there and help your allies, let the opening spells, especially the ults if possible, get blown before you enter the fray.
Bot lane, you know, theres only so much you can do about a bad support. Something I've learned as a way of recovering though, is to wait for bot to be pushed to your tower midgame, and then freeze it there. Mid game, a lot of people just power through the minions as fast as they can and move on. But it doesn't make them spawn any faster. Just sit near your reasonably safe tower, prefferably behind wards, and farm that one lane just like early game. CS well (you should have a BF sword anyway) and you'll get through the midgame nicely.
Oh, and kite. It's the bread and butter of combat for an adc.
