Gragas Support?

Hey there, Master Fledgling here.

With the advent of Cinderhulk, I am testing and retesting Jungle Cow. But more on that later.

For now, I know that Gragas jungle works and works well. He's also one of my favorite champs to play because he's just goofy and really strong. With just a ROA, he does noticeable damage. And if you build him full mage, he has surprising burst. Additionally, no other champ has offered me just escapes as Gragas has. Wall jumps, slows, bush checks, damage reduction, an amazing ultimate ... I digress.

How might he fair as a support? He has build in damage with W, good lane sustain, a stun (more as a peel I figure) and is naturally tanky. His ultimate also would be grand for peel and initiating/making picks.

From personal experience, like a lot of other champions, he is a decent support if you know what you are doing.

I've actually seen him played support quite a few times. Usually starts relics and builds mostly all tank focusing on the utility. Usually an Iceborn Gauntlet in there somewhere. Give it a try.

Eh? What brought Gragas back? the last I heard about him was that he was on the weak side :l

It's fun.

Play it very similar to Shen, Sejuani, Voli, or Udyr supports, but with more poke.

And by similar, I mean the idea that you get in their heads; when they engage or disengage, charge them. Make them afraid of you just by charging them every feasible opportunity. It's surprisingly effective.

He can be a good counter to kill supports like Leona Thresh . If they jump on your markman, belly flop them off for a disengage. Once you hit level 6, you basically have a Janna ult and all the (dis)engage power that brings as well. Your sustain and tankiness are decent, and you have poke too.
