I found mid lane to be my ideal style of play pretty much farm safely until its time to all-in it's not a constant brawl while trying to cs... -cough- bot lane -cough- top lane

  • top lane where there are 2 sweaty muscular and violent dudes are in dangerous proximity of each other at all times while trying to cs their urge to slap each other with noodles is just too great
  • bot lane where adcs are like mid laners... except they have AA that hurt, focus on farming rather than fighting sadly, they are accompanied by supports who have nothing better to do than trying to start fights all the fking time

this is cuz ap casters have wimpy AA, and couldnt be assed to risk trying to poke someone with it that said, instead of worrying bout AA, unless its a mid assassin -cough- zed you pretty much just wait for them to blow an ability (wooh like 25%,more or less,of their damage out puts gone!) THATS when u stop farming and all-in, assuming you know what ur doing (requires knowledge on enemy champion) cuz ap mid laners generally try to kill the other guy in 1 combo faster than the other guy does the same thing

You could write books about this :p The question is way too general because there are enough aspects to laning just in midlane that you could learn and practice for years and still have room to improve. Pantheon and Veigar are good champions if you are just beginning to learn the game. Morgana has a high importance skillshot, which is why I would suggest practicing Veigar or Pantheon if you are newer to the game. If you need help practicing I'm spending time helping people in the pre-season, you are welcome to add me in game. :)
