I've been at boot camp for the past month, and the last news I heard about before I left was Tahm Kench coming out. I have yet to see him after 6 games so that tells me he's kinda bad, or that we're past that awkward phase where EVERYONE plays him. I've noticed the GUI update and everything feels smoother than what I remember. Are there any more major updates that aren't so notice-able that I should know about? And if so what? They've officially announced that they're moving the servers from Portland to Chicago. They'll test in a few weeks and probably complete the move around the end of the season. West Coast will see ping increase, East Coast will see ping decrease.
They redid AP itemization, 
is less AP and costs less, and 
gives bonus 35% AP (because everything else's AP got a little nerfed). 
is really good now. Slows don't stack.
Next patch we're going to see some reworks to 4 champions and a significant change to armor items, as well as a few new fighter items.
