Ezreal Jungle... Why?

So Ez jungle seems to be popping up constantly ever since he was selected in worlds, and anyone who questioned it seemed to be shut down by the argument alone that he was jg in the worlds... But why is he considered a good thing by people? I have yet to receive a straight-forward answer about it. Yeah, he has damage, but he doesn't have any CC. Garen has damage, but he doesn't have any good and hard CC to be considered a good jungler. (I tried, and realized this myself.) Now, if each person in each lane had a reliable hard CC, I can see why it could be good, but other than that it just seems like a shit option. After the laning phase where Ez is useless and unable to contribute (given that the other lanes don't have CC) he's actually a really good champ and can dominate... But... He's still completely useless early game. Why go Ez jungle instead of just going ez adc? You get more farm that way and can build up items better.

Due to how minion walking is coded. He isnt consistent enough lanebully because he gets countered when they are behind minions

So it is nice he found success somewhere else

He has among the fastest early game clear times. So he can gank at a higher level much earlier than other junglers.

He has no reliable cc for early game, same as a number of other junglers, like Khazix LeeSin Olaf. So you need to have cc elsewhere in the teamcomp. This is nothing unusual.

Garen isn't ranged. Not even a valid comparison.

You pick jungle ezreal specifically FOR his early game ganks

People play Ez JGL just because he has the best early impact of any JGL currently in the game.

He has pretty much nothing else - but that one feature is enough.

He early game is Elise v 2.0 but he scales well and wont ever get nerfed unlike her.

His level 2 gank is pure unadult rated cancer. If you're mid lane and even close to being in the middle of the lane he'll gank you for fb simply because of redbuff burn and the slow it gives.
