Looking for tips on what to do lategame

I can handle laning phase, but I'm new to carry roles after maining support since day 1, as a carry, what are some tips for how to translate a lead into a won game, obviously objectives are important, but it terms of whether I should be splitting, how to help lanes that are behind, how to maintain an advantage, I could use some help. Any tips would be appreciated.
