It depends on how bursty the enemy team is though.

I was playing Cho the other day, Quinn ganked me, easy kill.

Then she ganks Veigar, easy kill.

Then she tries to engage once more on her botlane, Lucian + Brand blow her up, gg

Quinn isn't an ADC, if you're playing her bot lane it should be as a kill lane, with the goal to shut down the enemy ADC.

It usually was a kill lane when I played her before, so I think me and my brother can manage.

Also, what makes her not an adc? Her update made it possible for her to actually be viable bot lane, I thought.

The update actually made her more viable as a mid laner, as an ADC she has short range but doesn't have the same safety tools that other short range ADCs have like Sivir spellshield or Vayne tumble+stealth, she's more suited to dueling or kiting single enemies or waiting for an opportunity to kill key targets on the enemy back line.

Her highest winrate build right now is item 3142 item 3147 item 3156 , though she does have a multitude of other builds that work in other situations.

If you play her as an ADC you still need to position and wait for openings like an assassin to avoid just getting blown up.

If you do take her bot lane with a duo you could try with a support Elise , her kit complements Quinn s extremely well.

I actually want to try her mid, that sounds pretty cool.

Elise support sounds like it could be the new way to play her. It honestly sounds pretty fun.

Do you think going the traditional adc build when you go Quinn mid would work just as well? Or is the armor pen required when you don't have a buddy with you at all times to set up kills?

Your full combo will 100-0 an enemy carry with the armor pen build, basically means that an enemy ADC can never split off from the group to farm a side lane or they just die. I've seen some people go item 3508 item 3046 item 3812 for top lane, you could go item 3087 for some extra wave clear, helps push out side lanes quicker before regrouping.
