Tips on countering Ekko
While I think Ekko is fun, I think we as a community should come up with ways to lock him down before he gets out of control. I'll give my two cents, and I invite you to chip in with somethings you notice about him.
His Q: generally when he throws this at you, he's going to W you in the direction you're running. The moment you see this, start moving. Don't stand still and react when his W is activated, start moving immediately. Position yourself, if possible, as to not get hit by the return trip (think Orianna's ball).
His W: kind of like the tip with Q. If he's farther away, get out immediately. Try to move in the opposite direction of him so he can't E to you immediately and get that shield and/or stun.
His E: the moment you see him tumble, position yourself until the blink portion burns out without use. Don't trade, just wait it out. If he tries to towerdive you... use your cc if any. Then move if he ults.
His ultimate: the ghost gives a hell of a lot more counterplay than Leblanc, so let's talk about it. If his ghost is following him, always try to be in front of his path of movement if possible. If he uses his kit to position himself while trying to ruin your's, beat him at his own game. If you're mobile, predict his ultimate (Ekko players do this with your mobility, so it really is his own game!). If you're not mobile, zone him out with range or cc. If you can keep him in the same spot for a couple seconds, he's less likely to burst you with his ghost (since it's right next to him). Much easier to predict his next few moves.
His aa passives: cc, reverse gap closers, anything to keep him from hitting you. If you're melee, this is a little more difficult, but building some MR and using knockups/whatever you got really helps. The best thing a melee can do against Ekko, in my opinion, is lock them down with their kit and tankiness while someone else bursts them a bit more effectively.

I could be wrong for all I know, but I'm working on helping others handle this guy before he facerolls your team. What do you think helps handling Ekko a little easier?
