Need advice from a Silver (or better) Jungler...

I've lost the last 4 straight ranked matches. 12 lanes total, 11 of them lost their lane.

I have to be doing something wrong. I know what the Dunning Kreuger effect is and I feel like I'm experiencing it, because you don't know what you don't know.

Here's the problem: Every lane that was lost wasn't ganked by the enemy 80% of the time. The ones that were ganked were not warded by my allies.

I get "need assistance" pings from every lane, and them raging how I"m never ganking, and last game someone was pissed I was 3 levels under everyone else...I just can't win this. When I did show up to gank they're at 5% health and won't contribute and the guy gets away. So I'm ganking when I can, farming when I can, I feel like I'm babysitting 3 lanes every single game.

Now, this all happened today, Friday evening, and I realize the average skill level of players on a busy day like Friday is a lot lower, but shouldn't that translate to the enemy team also?

What am I doing wrong here?

Probably just rotten luck, but I would also make an assertion based on your claim that your ally was complaining that you were three levels behind everyone else. This would indicate that you were much too focused on ganking on weren't spending enough time farming in your own jungle. If you fail a gank, that puts you behind, and you need either come in for gank 2 on the same lane (usually resulting in a kill), or go back to farming for a bit. If you just constantly run around the map trying to gank for everyone you're going to get considerably behind and make your ganks useless.

Junglers can't please everybody problem is the ones you don't please will get everyone else to gang up on you

A few statements in that also show a mindset you need to get out of. There is no 'lower skilled group of players who play on friday'. This game is so big with so many people, you can always find appropriate people to play with unless you're up very late and are very high elo.

Second don't focus on the fact that you lost the game, focus on what you did that could have been better. Did you gank a lane with low health and it could be turned? Did you stand in a bush for longer than 10 seconds, deciding whether to gank or not? Find these mistakes and fix them. Don't worry about win or losing.

All else fails, buy wards for your top laner, ward his lane, and camp bot/drag.

Dragon control. The games you lost were because of a lack of Dragon control.

If you need help to take dragon, make sure to keep bot healthy or at least keep them from dying so that the enemy can't come and take it out from under you. Watch out for mid-lane roamers, too. If you're on red side, you absolutely must take it as far out of the pit as possible and not let the enemy flash steal it from you. If you're a lower level than the enemy jungler, let your team know that you can't steal it. They must either take down the enemy jungler to even bother contesting it. Later on, have lanes pushed so you can focus on dragon with ample vision and distractions.

Gold 2 here.

The #1 key is to never stop farming. Your job is not to gank, it is to secure objectives and assert map dominance. Ganking is one such tool, it is not the only tool. You need gold to get all your tools. Ganking is one method to get gold; it is not the only method.

Silver jungler here. Sucks to be a jungler in low elo because there are so many noobs that have no clue how to capitalize on the advantage you give them in lane. I know this isn't very helpful regarding how to carry as a jungler, but you'll do best in mid or top lane. Play someone that can roam/splitpush well. Though the key is map pressure. If you can apply map pressure with a semi-competent team, you should be able to win. If they're going drag and you can't contest, take a tower in return. Junglers like Shaco are considered trash to low elo players, but they can carry. The map pressure he applies is ridiculous. He can splitpush and then run away not even being touched. He can even leave his clone to finish off a tower while he begins to apply pressure to other lanes. Splitpushing can carry noobs. Then again, sometimes your team is just completely shit and there's nothing you can do... GL

As a jungler if you have a losing lane that you can't bring back it can be a better idea to focus on a winning lane to get them snowballing to pick up the slack from the other lanes. Lets be honest there are some lanes you just can't help but odds are that in every game there is at least one you can and that should be your main focus. You also need to communicate with your lanes to setup optimal gank conditions and placing a few wards yourself to help them is always helpful even if it may not seem like it. You should also have an idea of which lanes are easy to gank before the game starts based on what champions are being played in the lanes and what champion you are playing, and you should base your early game off that.
