Hey everyone. I just wanted to tell you how I got from Bronze five to silver five and I'm asking for help.

First off I asked these questions after every game for like 20 days.

1. Did I bring negativity in the game? 2. Did I ward dragon or baron? 3. Did I win my lane? 4. Did I gank losing lanes? 5. Did I ward river to prevent ganks? 6. When overextending did I ward to keep myself safe? 7. Did I communicate with my team and tell them my plans? 8. Did I focus the right people? (team fights) 9. Did my emotions affect my game play? 10. Did I get mad at my teammates for sucking? 11. Did I feed?12. Did I have at least 100 cs in 20 minutes? 13. Did I panic or started giving up? 14. Did I push other lanes to get the inhibitor? 15. Did I steal enemy jungle? 16. Did I counter jungle? 17. Did I use my wards correctly? 18. Did I take advantage of my opponent going back to early and push lane and cause him to lose exp? 19. Was my map awareness good? 20. Did I freeze lane at right times and harass at right times? 21. Did I counter pick myself? 22. How did I die if I died? 23. What could I have done to prevent that death? 24. How could I apply that to next time? 25. Did I blame my teammates? 26. Did I place at least one vision ward? 27. Did I buy wards on first back? 28. Did I continue buying wards? 29. If behind did I play smarter? 30. If I was supporting did I protect my attack damage carry/peel?31. If I was supporting was I aware of other lanes and looking to gank?

Two months ago I than went to http://www.lol-coaching.com/coaches.php ,and found an amazing coach ,which improve my rating by Bronze Two to Silver Five. He taught me about a great replay skystem ,which is http://replay.gg/ ,and now I am going to start reviewing my games solo. I'm also going to start doing those questions again.

Now here is what I am asking you. What questions can I add to improve and what should I be doing better?

Edit: I'm looking for motivation ,and Guidance. I desperately want to improve.

You may want to clarify what role you played prior to making the list. Some of those questions can get skewed if you are playing certain roles. Like 100 CS by 20 minutes isn't a realistic goal as a support.

Also, after a team fight that you won what did you and your team do? Did you back, take dragon, take baron, take a tower, etc.

git gud.

On a more serious note, I've started playing League September, last year. I was placed in Silver at the end of the season and at the beginning of this season was placed in Silver 2 and climbed my way up to Platinum.

My pieces of advice:

  • Don't play ranked if you're tired (I do this a lot which resulted in my being demoted ;c)
  • Don't play ranked if you're hungry
  • Don't play ranked if you're thirsty
  • Don't play ranked if you're in a negative emotional state (sad, depressed, etc)
  • Try to focus on yourself. /mute all and DO NOT pay attention to anyone else, just focus on improving yourself.
  • Try to ward better. This is kind of plain, but that's all I can do for now.
  • Understand the importance of dodging and surrendering.
  • Main TWO roles. One in which you can dominate (for me that's mid) and one in which you can do 80-90% of that (I think I'm a pretty decent top laner). Less is more, everyone saying you need to learn all the roles ARE NOT high tier and that's why. People in high elo have their main roles.
  • Have a SMALL, but FIXED champion pool. It's better to know 5 champions 100% than 100 champions 5%.

I think this video can help you out quite a bit to understand my points. Edit: It's kind of late, if I think of any more points I'll keep adding them to the list.

that's a pretty elaborate list. Keep up the good work, it sounds like you have a good understanding of what to do, just master actually doing it by practicing those things and you'll be on your way up the elo ladder. "Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect."

Consider maining a role, and a champion. make it a champion you enjoy playing, and do well with. dont ignore other roles, but as you reach higher elos, having a comfort pick is a must. branch out to other roles/champions after you understand how that one works (when it hits its powerspikes compared to other champions, if its a lane bully or a scaling champion, what cool mechanical tricks can it pull off, etc) then branch out to other champions/roles using what you know about your main(s). other than that, the best way of getting better is to keep playing.

How to reach Silver 5 from Bronze 5: Step 1 > Click Solo Q Ranked Draft Pick Step 2 > Auto lock Katarina Step 3 > Get flamed by team for picking Support Katarina Step 4 > Take all ADC CS. Lets be honest, they're not carrying in this meta. Step 5 > Roam mid and kill the "LCS B1GPLAY$ AUTOLOCK ZED MID" Step 6 > Get dragon Step 7 > Repeat Step 6 and 5 12 times until laning faze is over. Step 8 > Since your fed af, carry the game. Step 9 > Repeat Steps 1-8

If Kat is banned ur fuked m8.

If you don't want to be an ass in ranked games, just play normals until you aquire some more game knowledge.

remember that you are talking about bronzies here. 95% of the questions you just wrote wont apply to them; they aren't advanced enough to understand them

Main a champion. Single champion mastery is the single easiest way to climb. I was Silver 2 for 3 years. This season I started playing Swain and I was winning a lot of games with him, so I kept playing him. I'm Plat now.
