Had I seen this 15 hrs ago I might of taken this bait and schooled ya
I believe a well played Fizz is a tricky lane for Ahri to excel in.
It's tough to poke through the
; you end up pushing up the lane attempting to do so. If you misposition after level 3 I will aggress on you. The ideal fizz opening is using my Q (dash move) onto you. This way I can save my trollpole to retreat and reset minion aggro or all in and kill you. Ahri could use charm to counter that opening though.
You might try to win by poking me out but it's not so easy as Ahri because you rely on both parts of the Q damage to be that efficient. It'll push the lane and you have a lot of hp to get through with my flask. Full ahri Q dmg is hard without landing charm which is hard to land when I'm only looking for a mistake of yours and if you miss charm you're highly vulnerable to me jumping on you.
It's good movespeed was added to your Q. It helps you in this matchup. Once your waveclear is stronger and you have ult though it's harder for me to randomly kill you 1v1 through your ult. Not that burning cooldowns and getting chunked is good for you though...
Fizz has the advantage in a pure 1v1. A smart fizz will not be aggressive or even attempt to push mid early. You can't 100-0 fizz; he's too slippery and durable. Poking him out is very hard work and causes you push up mid lane whether you auto him and draw minion aggro or use skills and hit creeps. What would be a dream play is if your jungler comes and waits near your lane and you bait Fizz into attacking you by making a "mistake." That kind of play rarely happens in solo queue because junglers naturally move toward pressured lanes, and don't really think about the ones their allies pushed up.
You can play the lane really passively though and reserve cooldowns and just focus on farm and look for roam opportunities.
I may still be up for this 1v1 practice. I haven't played vs. good enough Ahris recently at all
wut is room name lol
