I'm a mid main and support secondary, I really want to learn how to play ADC, I try adc games in norms all the time sometimes get stuck with it in ranked but I never figured out how to play this role (either I get my ass carried or feed hard). Can anyone give me some tips? I want to be able to play adc this season and stop having to queue up mid/support every time cause i get stuck with support every game
As a jungler, I can only say that a lot of ADC make the horrendous mistake of trying to duel me and end up getting violated by my burst. 
Or worse, they don't pay attention to positioning during mid game and become free food. So I guess what I'm trying to say is don't try to duel players until late game and always, ALWAYS be aware of your positioning relative to your teammates.
It's funny, because adcs are under the control of their supports. It's not really up to you how well you can dictate a match, it's mostly a matter of how well your team can accommodate you.
The only tips I can give you is to learn each adc's range, find out who has more range, find out each one's power spikes and who can out duel who at which point of the match. Other than that, it comes down to learning how well you support synergies with your adc as well. ADCs require a bit more knowledge of matchups than most other roles all things considering. You have to learn how hard a support counters a certain adc in itself, rather than how hard an adc counters another adc. So take all of that into account.
I think my biggest issue is i dont dmg in teamfights cause I cant figure out how i can put out dps
