*Good roaming supports?
Hey there, Master Fledgling here.
INB4 a dozen
posts -- yes Bard is a swell roaming support. He is THE roaming support, only possibly usurped by
, though Bard is truly DESIGNED for it. Anyways. The champions I am after are champs that can toss on mobility boots and go wandering away from their ADC at SENSIBLE times to help lanes in trouble. The ones that come to mind for me thus far are:
(<-- this guy especially after his new passive which lets him collect bonus experience and then LEVEL UP nearby champions with it, meaning making a trip to top lane where levels matter the most is a good idea. Bring teleport and distortion boots.)
There are probably others, but those are the ones I can best think of -- with a combination of such good mobility and ganks to make it worth their while.
Let me know if you can think of any others. Cheers.

Evelynn is my secret love. Whilst in lane she can be pretty useless. But in today's current meta where ADC's should be able to hold their own in lane to a degree and the support gets to roam I think Evelynn is a great champion and one of my preferred picks (when I have full faith in my ADC). Her ability to roam and get vision anywhere on the map easily is amazing. She also has the ability to gank other lanes in coordination with your jungler (as practiced in my ranked 5s). My go to build for Evelynn support is as follows.
Of course the build is altered according to team requirements and overall game situation. Such as
. She takes a bit of practice to get the play style in terms of transitioning her into a support rather than a jungler but the overall game sense is the same.
and
if you are good at landing skillshots (or positioning yourself with the threat of a skillshot to burn a summoner)
with a tanky build her insain mobility and 3 snares bring quite the utility to the team
