(Please do not link me to some video playlist, invite me to some Skype group, or try to make me watch your stream. I am looking for a personal 1v1 with someone who is serious about expanding on their coaching skills.)

I don't have anything to give like money or RP, but I am hoping to find a dedicated coach that will take out time to work with me on My gameplay over like a week or two for the experience of coaching itself. Looking for help with some choices I make, objective focus, and how I approach fights. Also hoping to go over a lot of replays on skype.

In season 3 I was a part of a ranked team with some good friends of mine. They were all gold-Diamond and I was still climbing through silver. Playing with them was good for me because it showed me there is a lot more to winning than just mechanics. Even though my mechanics were good to keeping up with them I had no idea what I was doing. Months after I started playing with them I ended up getting gold 3 on my own with gold 2 mmr. But the season ended before I could get any higher.

In season 4 I tanked hard. Placed straight into gold 5 from promo's on a 6/4. Did pretty good early going and sat in gold 4 until I began to struggle in the meta. Eventually I reached Gold 3 with my Ali/Mundo spam, but very quickly tanked back to gold 5.

Season 5 my mmr was pretty bad and I placed silver 3 on a 5/5 (the same elo I placed on my smurf.....) I Very easily climbed back to gold. But as soon as I hit gold 5 I began to have the same trouble as before and couldn't seem to break free of it. Even my smurf has higher mmr than my main this season at this moment.

I am obviously doing something wrong. I have been playing this game since open beta and I just can't seem to get my ass out of low gold. The meta is good for me this season and I had high hopes when I started, but I am just not having any luck.

My understanding is that at Gold level you understand the majority of concepts involved in advanced play. Plat and continuing is consistency, not knowledge. What you need is literally practice, not coaching. If you are gold, then you have the mechanics. Make a small cheat sheet. Nothing extravagant. A very quick reminder to read before each and every game that starts.

"Focus last hits; remember lane momentum; watch jungler; keep eyes on dragon;" etc.

Lane momentum is a powerful tool, if you are in fact lacking in certain mechanics. Myself, learning just this one aspect to lane control has advanced my game play significantly and I'm currently working myself up the ladder.

Alongside the cheat sheet, take a deep breath before the game starts. Calm yourself, and get ready for the battle ahead. Drink lots of water, and if you find yourself playing badly multiple games in a row, take a break. Have a nap, eat something, etc. The worst thing you can do is play while you're not at your best, because it will show in your performance. I also advise youtubing "Leaguecraft 101" by unswlolsoc. I know this may not be what you wish to hear, but I don't believe that a "coach" is what you're looking for when you've got all the tools within yourself now. Consistently playing at a gold level, regardless high or low, is still an achievement. There will always be things you can learn, but honestly what you're asking for may be very hard to find, so I suggest humbly that you focus on what you do have now, your ability to continue to improve on your own by focusing on small things and don't let killing sprees get to your head. Even if you're a support ;)
