Former gold (in silver 1 promo's) Looking for knowledgeable duo.
Currently gold 5 now. My name is Eyaru and I am 26 years old from Florida. (East time.) Please do not add me unless you are silver 1 or higher.
A duo is not required for me to get back into gold, so by all means that has nothing to do with me seeking out a duo partner. My goal is to reach plat this year and so I am looking for a stable ally who is knowledgeable and skilled as a player. In previous seasons I capped at gold 3. In season 3 I had reached my true level of skill, and had a lot to learn before I could climb any further. In season 4 I learned a lot and slowly closed the gap. However, the meta was not in my favor and I failed to break gold 3 again. This year however, the meta is greatly in my favor, and after coming off of some bad placement games I am climbing with ease. My mmr is also much higher than my current ranking. There are several qualities in a player I am seeking, and I hope that you can meet these if interested.
- Watches a fair bit of competitive play, and has moderate experience himself.
- Knows where the (safe zones) on the map are. This means knowing to not go into dark map area's without vision, or without knowing where your enemy team is. (I find most players in gold are ignorant of this and end up picking bad fights, losing most of their games just because of poor vision and awareness.)
- Has a friendly, "I understand" attitude. People make mistakes. We are not challenger players in Korea. And have you even watched them play? Even the best mess up. Give the benefit of the doubt to others always, unless what they are doing will result in an obvious loss. Be constructive, not abusive.
- Be Gold - plat last season or any former season. In season 3 I sat in gold 3 59 lp. Season 4 the meta was not in my favor and I was unable to climb passed gold 3. This season however I am finding the meta greatly in my favor and am ready to make the climb.
- Admit your mistakes to yourself. You don't have to tell everyone, "it was my fault!" But at least recognize when it is.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I do not use Skype or any other voice chat. I do not feel it is needed to soloqueue. In fact, it often messes with my in game focus when I hear others speaking. I communicate with chat and pings.
