Im not sure how to handle a situatoin like this

so im a zed and i get a triple kill after going 3-4 in the laning phase against a champion that counters zed which puts me at 6-4 and then the sona says, "Zed if your trying to take credit for those kills your a noob because you needed our tank to blow all the enemy cc" and im sitting in my chair just thinking, "What kind of logic is that? Im a zed of course i need a tank to take most of the cc when all 5 members of the enemy team have cc"

how do i do this and i wanna know is this build even good on zed? sometimes i like to switch the gaurdian angel with or and yes i know im bronze but still you gotta admit that im right in this situation right? a zed just needs to have atleast some of the cc blown in order to get the adc

Good build, extremely good logic. +1 Also say just ignore your teammates, they are scrubs for lack of better terms.

Food for thought: Change BT for Hydra? Proc damage to help ult.

Why are you in a pissing contest with your team about kills in the first place. It's a team game...there is no kill steal, only kill secured. The bigger question is not how many kills you have, why you have them, and who should get credit...it's what are you doing with them. Are they leading to objectives? Core items that help you take/secure objectives? Empty lanes that allow you a brief window to roam? Cpunter jungle? Gank another lane? Free farm and push a tower & deny gold and XP before their mid returns?

That's what you need to worry about. As for your items, I don't play zed and am not up to snuff on what's typical on him other than he is indeed very AD oriented. Id look up some highly rated guides and cross reference items and reasoning if the writers left any.

I am only a Silver scrub but I think for my level I'm decent and I main Zed and I have to say you are pretty spot on. It is the tank or jungler's job to soak up the cc so that way you can go in and assassinate the enemy carry so you can push or secure an objective (or what have you). When I first started LoL I used to be more concerned with stuff like "kill stealing" (LoL was my first moba, and most of the competitive games I played previously and/or play outside of it are FPSs like Halo and CoD) however in the long run it really doesn't matter; so long as the target dies or you at least get something out of it. It's always nice to have a ton of kills but it ultimately comes down to what you do with getting those kills. It will normally be better for the mid laner or adc to get the kills, but if all of your team's kills are concentrated on one person then the rest of your team is deprived of resources and the other team just has to focus the one fed person. Regarding your build I think its fine. Most situations you'd probably want Boots of Mobility rather than Merc Treads so you can roam, but merc treads is a fine substitute especially against a cc heavy comp. Bloodthirster is a great item on Zed for the massive damage and sustain but Ravenous Hydra gives you more ultilty (with the aoe damage, and hp regen outside of its already good damage and decent lifesteal); ultimately for that I think it depends on if your fed and/or what you are trying to do that game. For just nuking the carries I'd go BT, for split pushing and the like I would go Hydra. I would've personally gotten the Maw over Yomuu's since most of the time BotRK gives enough bonus attack speed for me and the added magic resist on the maw is also nice (plus normally my combo of abilities is normally enough for me to nuke the enemy carry and Zed is already really mobile). GA is a great defensive item on any assassin or carry as it can turn the tide of a team fight if you suicide bomb the enemy carry. Black Cleaver is another great item on Zed and helps shred the armor of opponents while giving you more health; most of the time I get BC over Last Whisper since (at least at my elo) I normally don't find the majority of the enemy team outside the tank stacking a lot of armor. I wouldn't really build Infinity Edge or other items majority focused around crits unless I was trying to cheese with a full crit build. However, overall I think your build is pretty decent. Simply put, just mute and move on.

Sidenote: try to play with the sides of a lane or the treelines in the jungle. Become less dependent on your team for help (for tanking, etc.) because people are unreliable. With assassin champs like Zed , you can easily use the jungle just before a teamfight breaks out to pop in with an ult and burst a target then come back to the safety of your R shadow. Optimally, you'd be getting the mid laner or marksman down for your team and be a lone wolf at the same time. Make sure to run item 3341 if you want the best jungle sneaking experience.
