Some Advice For My Mains

I'm always looking to learn and I've really been wanting to improve my win ratio with my best champions. I definitely have been noticing myself improving, but still wanna keep going. Here's some specific questions about some champions I main and some general questions:

Lissandra My biggest problems with Lissandra is her very early game (before lvl 6). Her mana costs are so high and her damage is so low. How do you fight against champions like LB and stuff that have amazing burst even at lvl 2? How do you spam her q while still not going oom at the most crucial moments? Especially against champions that are inherently tanky from lvl 1 like Garen and Sion. Is she still really good after her nerf? Should I wait until lvl 6 to roam or should I roam the second I get Glacial Path? When to engage? When to wait for someone else to engage? HOW DO YOU BEAT YASUO

Fiddlesticks Should I ever gank pre-6 as jungle? Is fid support even viable really? Is there any way to speed up early clears? Is fid good against akali? Better than swain? Is rylais a good item on fid?

Twitch How to poke as Twitch? He's like an all-in monster so it's hard to "just poke" without using the really wasteful w+e combo. Is it better for Twitch to get picks or to teamfight? What about split pushing?

Morgana Most efficient time to ult? What are you supposed to buy after sightstone/zhonyas/sorc shoes? Do you max shield or pool second?

Kennen Is he viable? Mid? Top? What's the best way to build him? I never know what to build on Kennen at any given time? I have 3 builds for him currently: full hybrid pen, full onhit, and bursty+magic pen. I know zhonyas is a big buy, but what after that? Is nashor's tooth worth it?

Viktor When to buy real items vs when to upgrade hex core? How to use stun efficiently? Take Q or E first?

General: I've noticed high elo players will take a second rank in a skill at lvl 3 instead of leveling up their third ability. Why would you do this instead of completing your combo?

So I can answer the general question: its usually to increase clear time / Add more damage to your poke. However it really depends on the champion your playing. I'll give you some examples of people I usually play and what i take first 4 levels.

Trundle lvl 1: Q lvl 2: W Lvl 3: Q Lvl 4: E. Why this way with trundle? Because I'm looking to increase his clear time and fight potential with Q, while E has little to no use to trundle until around level 8 to be honest.

Zed lvl1: Q lvl 2: W lvl 3: E lvl 4: Q The reason I take his abilities in this order is so that level 1, i have ranged poke and ranged farm. Level 2 grab shadow for even more ranged poke with Q. Level 3 grab his E so that way My Shadow is even more deadly and I can safely hit the backline of minions so they can be weaker.

It really honestly depends on the Champion and how their abilities should really be used, or if the ability is even useful early on.

Lissandra if you have mana problems make sure you're running the feast mastery in offense, and utility masteries such as meditation, alchemist, and culinary mastery. They seem like such small gains but every little bit adds up, allowing you to spend more time on the field, allowing you more time to regen. It's almost like these effect multiply each other. When you're good at CS'ing the feast mastery is almost mandatory for 21 offense laners; it's like 2hp/5 + 1mp/5 a minute. Stronger than both meditation and recovery in defense.

I don't actually play Liss so I won't comment on how to abuse your passive or abilities.

This happens a lot particularly on mana users. For level 3 you have fewer yet stronger skills to spam. Usually you put that third point into the second rank of your primary damage spell. You can't just cheese in 1v1 through minions and towers in high elo all the time, you need setup by either poking their hp down or getting a gank. Having one stronger spell is more efficient use of your mana

Viktor I would start dorans rings. Rushing hexcore upgrade for E is good. Double dorans ring is always good too. When you last hit well drings return a lot of mana. Generally Viktor also gets second hexcore upgrade for Q early, but after that he goes onto normal items for a while before finishing it. Items you might prioritze over the hexcore: item 1056 item 3020 item 1057 (foritem 3001 ) item 3191 (and components)

Kennen Very strong. My 3rd favorite champion. Good top and mid. Easier top. Start W usually. Max W. Use auto attack passive on enemy champion then press W. Try to Q or auto passive again for stun. Auto them while they're stunned. Save E for safety or all in or waveclear for W. You can maybe save the W active to refresh the passive duration instead of burning it right away if you want to try to be extra annoying.

Morgana Support morg? Max shield second. Solo lane morg maxes W to farm, then Q.

Twitch You don't poke with Twitch unless you outplay with basic auto attacks. Twitch is a very weak laner. He can only farm or all in cheese with the right support plays. Later he can do a lot in teamfights or pick people off, he's good at both.

Fiddlesticks Yes to all when applicable.

Lissandra - Lissandra out matches Yasuo when played correctly. While Lissandra counters Yasuo hard, Yasuo has a lot to his kit to get to you. At level 1 take your Ice Shard. Then at Level 2 take Ring of Frost. Be careful when he dashes around you, because good ones will not mindlessly do it, but to bait out your root. Why? W > Q chunks for 200 early if his flow doesn't block. Some people enjoy maxing W against Yas, but with 2/3 points you should be fine. Rinse and repeat, and then zone him in team fights with ulti > W-Q rotation.
