Ryze Mid

Not really any difference. You may have to build differently because of the different crowds, from tanky top laners to squishy assassinating mid laners. Just focus on a bit more warding because you could get hit from 4 sides if you're too pushed. Normally the jungler would get raptors and go mid with raptor buff, so put the ward close to the mid lane bush, but being able to see 3 different routes the jungler may take.

probably will want a more damage focused build if mid, I usually do something like and go 9-0-21 for 10% starting CDR, more base mana, better mana regen later on, better mobility, etc. you can also try things like rich bane, but if you are going for rune prison chains you have to constantly spell spam instead of worrying about AAing, and Luden's gives you more mobility and more burst/DPS as you spam spells out. I've also tried wota to mixed success, just make sure not to take CDR in your masteries if you do get it
