Can I ask someone here to check my stats and sort of point out what I'm good and bad in? I'd like to figure out what I should improve in.

When you're playing caitlyn, build item 3031 item 3006 item 3046 first, otherwise you're never going to do any damage. If you build IE but then never add to your critchance it's pretty much a wasted item. With only IE and PD you'll be hitting crits for 500 damage 55% of your autoattacks. So maybe you hit an enemy squishy twice and you'll have a good chance of doing 1k damage in less than a second.

Do you think building items like Bloodthirster and Runaan's Hurricane with Cait are solid items to have with her?

Bloodthirster is a good item on her, but if you buy it too early you delay your crit damage spike. I'd say after IE, boots and PD the next two items to look for are last whisper and bloodthirster. If they're building armor items then last whisper is probably better, if not just go bloodthirster for the extra sustain, shield and AD.

Hurricane? No. The only reason it's built on kalista is because it adds AOE rend stacks ( I think).

Well, from my time playing Hexakill, I've found that it speeds up Headshot stacks, which improve her DPS a big deal (shooting from the bush helps as well with Headshot stacks).

Normally, I like to ensure sustain early enough to know I can continue farming in lane, or have some ability to survive engages or teamfights. While playing safe and good positioning helps, I like to know i can heal some if I end up with a Blitz/Thresh/non-heal support to avoid backing when possible.

If you want BT for laning that's just fine. But if you lose a lot of games in the midgame, that's probably because of the build you're running because unless you're really far ahead of the enemy ADC, they'll always outdamage you. Especially because Caitlyn is already a low damage ADC. To win games you'll need to get lots of kills and a big CS lead.

This is my mindset when going adc normally, so let me know if any part of this is wrong: -Early game I like to rush BF sword. I make an effort to have similar or higher CS than enemy adc, and hopefully grab enough CS+kills+assists to grab it on first back. What I find is that if I manage to get BT fairly early, I'll do well. I tend to have no problems damage-wise midgame if I grab BF Sword on first back. My failings tend to be early game, when either I don't farm well, or the enemy adc gets fed.

So you are playing a very season 2/3 build pattern and is very dated and gives you a lower power spike

Your build order should be IE>PD/Shiv>LW/BT > LW/BT with boots built where applicable. Their is an arguments over about PD and shiv, for which is better. Shiv is cheaper and farming the extra gold can screw you. IF you go LW 4th you go BT 5th or vise versa. This is your best build path with the smoothest power curve for cait.

Huricane bt is a very weak build path. That build should only be used on a kalista.

Now you have been play a relatively weak champ for ADC. All she has going for her at this time is relative safety. Her power is never hyper carry status and in the mid game is weaker than any-other ADC. Her mid game is all about farming and trying to force towers. The changes for next patch may fix some of her problems.

With Caitlyn you really shouldn't be getting out farmed by any other champion do to her range she can farm safely so it shouldn't be risky to get those last hits. The way I play ADC is almost always IE first unless you are playing marksman that have their own specific builds (corki, vayne, kalista, etc.). After that I get an attack speed item either Shiv, PD, or BotrK. Lastly ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS get Last Whisper 3rd it is too valuable to not get later. BT cost sooooo much if the enemy starts building armor in the middle of you BT it can mean bad news.

Looking at the stats page like this does not really tell people about your skills. People can make a informed guess about it but what they are mostly going to see is build and hard game data. What you need is someone to spectate or review a vod of a couple of your games.
