When I play top lane I mostly play vlad. But I dont know which to take. flash ignite or flash teleport? I want ignite because once I get my ult I can usually go in for the kill. But I want teleport to get to my lane faster and defend it for a longer time possible.
Ghost > flash on Vlad
teleport has that global teamfight presence threat.
unless you're planning to just farm and kill your top lane for 20mins. teleport is still da way to go.
force enemy home. and just farm farm farm.
I take ignite or teleport based on my matchup. If you're going against someone that you feel you're able to duel 1v1 and beat, then take ignite. If you're playing against someone that you feel you won't be able to duel, then take TP for the global presence and not miss out on cs/xp due to constantly having to back.
Hey for generally I find:
Ignite: Playing a heavy poke champion that lacks kill potential (Karma, Lissandra, Teemo) and you can abuse early game to such an extent the enemy is very low and you can walk right up, poke and ignite. This is the same for snowball assassins like Akali or Diana because they really need to secure their kills.
Teleport: Majority of champions this is really effective (Irelia, Shen, Gnar) because they can provide team presence, kill an enemy laner without ignite or push lanes quickly.
As top vlad I always take Teleport/Ghost. I find flash isn't as great on him since Ghost provides a bit more utility for him. Plus, W + Ghost is hilarious.
Also to note, your ult DOES NOT amplify the damage of ignite. While ignite is good, it loses value as the game goes on, while teleport always has a use.

Usually I get ignite and teleport on Vladimir. If you're smart all you should need to escape is W.
Teleport, Ignite. With tp you can make sure your always in lane getting ahead in levels, and still have the ignite you need.
