I currently have an NA account (obviously), but lets say I wanted to play on the Korean server. Would i have to download a separate client and when I wanted to play NA i had to open one and when I wanted to play KR I had to open the other?
Korea is a special case because there are restrictions on creating a Korean account. But for other servers like EUW, LAN, etc. you launch the same .exe file to start the game. You just have to change the server on the launcher screen. It'll download all the files needed for that server. Each time there's a patch, you'll have to patch the client once for each server you want to play on.
