how to counter Mordenkaiser

so I see alot of these "revert Morde" post out there, but not very many posts about how to deal with Morde in lane. In my opinion that's the lazy way out. You'll don't seem to want to learn how to play against Morde so you're crying to riot cause he beat you in lane. well I've compiles a list of tips and tricks that I've found can help you beat and dismantle Morde's playstyle.

1). he doesn't do much damage early game, but is very tanky with his heal. If you have to all in focus the support if he has a squishy support, focus the support. This one is very counter intuitive to what we normally (focus the adc).

2). poke him when he tries to last hit. he's still a melee champion, and he needs to last hit in order to benefit from his w passive. However this is at times difficult because e has a longer range then most adc's auto attacks. so you'll end up trading with him a lot. don't worry though. minions die more often then morde's e is up, so you'll be able to get a few no risks trades when it's down. other adcs can trade with him from beyond the range of his e. can use her q on morde quite easily since he has very little mobility, and the q cost is quite low.

3). get ignite. The main source of morde's tankiness early level depends on the fact that morde normally runs heal, and flash, and with his active w it's like he's packing 2 heals. with ignite you can half his healing and kill him off quicker.

4). everyone knows the level 2 power spikes can be huge. because of morde's w passive he gets a lot of lev up power spikes. the most dangerous are the lev2 and the lev6. if you're a jungler plan a gank/countergank during these times cause Morde's team will most likely try to all in during those times.

5). Morde does magic damage and the only magic penetration he gets is abyssal scepter. If you've ever played an adc or apc without last whisper or void staff you know what this means. If you're a tank take alot of magic resist and force morde to attack you.

6). beat him in team fights. Morde still needs to get to your squishies in order to deal damage. champions like , or can keep their team comfortably out of morde's reach. If you're a support get talisman of ascension in order to keep kiting morde for days. can use her slows to keep morde from getting close to anyone unless he fashes, and even then you can counter flash.

7). This guy. this guy right here. The problem with before was the difficulty of landing a bomb on a mobile adc that can counter trade with you. That problem is alleviated against a immobile melee champion with only one spell that can trade with you. Against a morde it's sickeningly easy to land a bomb or even a double bomb with almost no risk. In a teamfight or gank zilean can keep away morde's intended target with a handy e on either mord or your ally. you can allow anyone to kit morde forever. and with the his new passive, and improved bomb detection on the pbe he's turning out to be the biggest counter to morde in the game.

note: as of this writing i still haven't found an effective counter to morde in lane if he's paired with an tanky engage support. I normaly just try to survive the laning phase with sivir or ashe and outperform him later in team fights. if you have tips yourself please share them.
