Tips & Tricks on picking my first three mid-laners...

So I'm in the process of buying my first three mid-laners for this account ( I recently began playing League again; am re-learning the game ) and haven't any ideas as how to go about this. I know the mid-lane has assassins like Zed, assassin-mage hybrids like TwistedFate, burst-mages like Annie, tank mages like Chogath, sustained damage mages like Karthus and sustained health and/or mana mages like Vladimir but I really have no clue where to begin. I will admit I did buy Twisted Fate simply because I find him ( as a character ) charming and would like to be able to play him better but the truth is I need help.

If the community were to recommend three mid-laners for a beginner to start with who would you recommend? Why would you recommend them? How would you play them and/or what are the common play-style(s) for that mid-laner? I'm not saying I'll main your recommendation but if a suggestion is popular enough I'll certainly make it one of the three I plan to re-learn the mid-lane with.

My thanks to the community in advance; appreciate your support! In the event you don't feel comfortable suggestion a champion for me to try would you at least be able to post some tips and/or tricks on finding a champion that will suit my needs?

I think that you should get Heimerdinger Leblanc Annie Heimerdinger has a very safe laner that is very easy to get familiar with and he can 1v2 very easily. Buy a item 3157 and you will be safe. Leblanc is very good at bursting someone down and she can run away from any danger. She only have one skill shot so you wont have any problems with not hitting your abilities. Annie is made for a starting mid-laner. she can stay in lane for a long time thanks to her Q and her passive is great for early ganks for your jungler. Also her ult with stun can turn a team fight around in seconds.

I think that you should try out: Katarina Annie and maby Heimerdinger Katarina is an ez champ to play with 0 skill shots and an AOE ult her poke combo is Q-E-W walk away her all in combo is Q-E-W-R then use the Q-E-W if you get resets with the passive tho be CAREFUL with her ult it CAN and WILL be stopped by hard cc

Annie is kinda made for newer plays to mid with. She has last hit farming with her Q AOE stun and a SUPPER long auto attack range just stun with tibbers AKA R and spam your other keys its not a hard champ to play XD

Heimerdinger is just Heimerdinger you use your Q 3 times in a triangle its free farm and then if some one walks into it then its a kill so they CAN'T go in on your unless your low or get ganked even then you can just R-Q and then run around and get free kills for not doing anything he is even more simple than annie

These are the champs that are ez to play and start off with i started mid with: Malzahar Kayle andHeimerdinger summoner 31 I hope that this helps good luck in mid and have fun :Dsummoner 31

I would leave the heimer out of it.

I would pick up Katarina Ahri Annie Brand Chogath

all easy to learn champs with solid win rates at low elo and can easily snowball a game if ahead or save a game when behind. They are all good in a team fight and in laning phase. Very safe champs except for katarina where you should time your engage after the enemy has used their hard cc that could interrupt your ult; ahri requires a little more skill that the rest with landing skill shots.

Annie, Lux, and Veigar would be my recommendations, and they are some of the strongest mid lane champions in solo queue right now. They all have lots of utility and potential to grow, and Veigar in particular is a great champion with whom to practice last hitting.
