Best way to climb out of bronze?

I main support but cannot for the love of god get out of my division because other lanes die off so quickly and feed. So, should I main mid or jungle for a better chance of getting better? My lanes (as a supp main) are always last to get lost and I know how to poke/zone/ward, but that doesn't help much.

Any advice is appreciated..

I climbed out of bronze as support. if you play better than bronze, you will try climb even as support.

other thing you can do is play adc, get fed and just kill everyone if you can play that well.

You can absolutely get out of Bronze as a support. But it takes some humility. You have to accept that there are things you're doing that are wrong—way wrong—and you have to be willing to change those things.

If you have a few hours to spare, Leaguecraft 101 episodes 1, 7, and 10 will teach you a phenomenal amount about supporting. If you don't already do so, you should also consider recording your games so that you can go back and review them.

Best way to escape bronze is relie on your self dw bout wat ur team is doin and jus worry about u and make nice calls. And as a support you cant do that, so i advise you to pick up a champs with carry potentional, fiora, yasuo, vlad, ekko, vayne, or even people like yi who carry hard in bronze etc etc cant name then all, and your gonna have to go 30-5 every game, it sucks i know thats y its called elo hell. people there literally wanna ruin ur life and lose on purpose and troll

You just have to carry hard. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/1834662678/47644006?tab=stats Yes you can carry as support. Dmg to champs lol. (FYI Some of my friends suck so our MMR in ranked team is low, enemy bot lane was bad/big difference in skill level and I counterpicked) Just play cheezy champs that win early game. Easy to snowball a game in bronze.

Hey man, I totally feel you. It is hard to carry with support. My advice if you really want to influence the game in solo queue is to pick a carry type champ or a play maker. For support, I would say someone like Thresh, Nami, Braum. In general I do think ADC and Mid can have the most influence due to their kill potential, but the best advice I ever heard was to just focus on making your best move. Do not worry about the other players or what they are doing. Just make what you think is the best decision and focus on improving.

I actually just started a blog to help people make better decisions. The first post is live. Check it out and leave some comments. www.the1337league.com

Your in B5 do not play classic support if you want to main support. Play as a off AP and be a off carry with sight stone. Playing as a true support champ is asking to only put your power in your allies. When you off mage support you become another threat for your team. You can still peel for others but you can also do the ultimate CC (death).

Teams do tend to follow the guidance of the best players. But even when you're not the best player the next best thing is to be nice. If you're giving out compliments and making light of a person's mistakes you can influence people to follow your ideas much easier.

Not too long ago I played a PvP game where I was the support and my ADC, an Ezreal, was having a bad game. At the end of the laning phase he was something like 3/2 but about 10 minutes later he was 4/9. So he was feeling pretty bummed out about his performance. The enemy team was killing anyone who would roam alone so what I did was tell Ezreal to use his ultimate for the guaranteed gold areas. I just told him to cheer up and that the best thing he can do at this point in the game is to ult any massive minion waves he sees. Long story short him doing this slowed up any enemy minion wave pushes and made out sieges on their towers more effective. Sure we died more but the only stat that counts is the W and we got the W that time around.

You will never climb ladder by knowing only one role. I know this from experience, as I used to main support only and was a good support. Now I know all roles, and multiple champs in case one gets banned. Please practice in Team Builder until you know other roles. On eof the reasons that Bronze is ELO hell is because of people like you who only know one role.

I got out of bronze maining support thresh, best way to do this is to not just ward the bushes that are outside your bottom lane, ward deep into the enemy jungle when you get a chance so that you can keep track of the enemy jungler. This will give you knowledge on what lanes can play more aggressive, which lanes need to be safe because of a nearby jungler etc. What support are you playing?

i personaly think the best way to get out of bronse is only picking your main role if you are first pick

if you are not try and see if you see an open lane with an enemy that you can counter and pick that one

for example your enemy got first pick and pciks tryndamere you wanted to play suport but instead you think hey i know how to play teemo to and he does good against tryndamere lets play teemo
