A jungler that isn't perma-banned?

So I like jungling as , and she's taught me how to gank, escape, and build dynamically from game to game, but she's simply permabanned from what my silver friends are saying. Yeah yeah yeah, you can talk about rank but the point of the matter is I need some other junglers to fall back on.

is crap from what I hear my friends say (I like playing as her, but we're talking ranked here...) even if I were to build her bruiser. is too difficult at low elos, and not a great jungler in the first place (again, friends... but I tried it in ranked and got destroyed, so I'd rather not repeat that experience).

is too squishy for my tastes. He's one of the best junglers from what I hear from anyone, but I don't understand how to build him. Build him like an apc? I'm... I'm just not good with him.

is... in sore need of a nerf. She's fun to play, but easy to destroy in a ranked game.

So yeah, I'm looking for some junglers to learn and bring to ranked play. I prefer bruisers, like Vi, and my jungling style is more on gank as much as possible, and farm (without EVER afk'ing) whenever there's no opportunity to and secure objectives. seems alright, but he seems like a jungler that farms too much without helping other lanes out. Maybe I'm wrong. Any ideas, suggestions?

And before I get "Lee Sin is freelo" or "J4 is teh G0d," I'd rather not. Please. Maybe J4 now that he got hit hard by a nerf, but I don't want to play Lee Sin and annoy people because it's the fifth game in a row they've played with him.

Edit: Nvm, read tanky instead of brusier. Maybe Pantheon then.

Hm... Pantheon... I remember playing him during the all for one mode, and both teams picked Pantheon. When you carry with him, you carry HARD. Fellow noobs were impressed, I called it a nuke.

j4 rengar khazix xin zhao maokai

khazix and rengar have slow starts when i play them

xin zhao is a pretty good all in brusier he used to be my favorite

shaco is rewarding if you take the time to learn him but hes more of a squishy assassin

ps alot of people have been playing nid jungle

I considered Xin, but I find him personally easy to face against. Not to mention the current bug Rito needs to fix...

Heard great things about Khazix, Rengar, and Maokai. I'll put them on the list and give them a shot!

with the right runes and mysteries and building xin zhao will not go down without a fight a year or 2 ago i used to play full ad jungle xin zhao the dude puts out insane amounts of damage like a yi without the speed boost

and btw whats the bug?

He's not doing his knockup right.

But he's easy to build against as jungler. Ninja tabi, randuin's omen, and other armor items make Xin Zhao very sad. :/ He looks fun though, maybe I'll pick him up to counter squishier, sustain team comps.

He's got no escape, is the thing.

When you go in as Xin, you either win or die.

That doesn't make him bad, per se, but that is why Champions like J4, Vi, Lee Sin, and RekSai are generally picked instead of him.

Wukong. Fits every team comp JarvanIV and Vi would, which means he fits literally any team comp. Only reason he doesn't see high-level play is because he can't gank immediately after clearing.

Sejuani, Zac, Nautilus, Skarner, Volibear, and any other tank whose abilities deal magic damage are all basically the same. You'll never hear yourself say 'Oh, if only I had picked Sejuani instead of Nautilus' or vise versa. They're all just CC machines. The only standout is Maokai because he brings team-wide damage reduction. Even then, he's more commonly seen in top lane.

That being said, bronze/silver/gold elo you can make pretty much anything work. Typically though you're better off picking a bruiser for soloq jungling. When you pick a true tank, you're basically trusting that the strangers you got matched up with are going to bring enough damage to offset you building straight tank. This is why I always pick Wukong over any tank in soloq, because I know I have enough damage to carry, even if a teammate isn't doing so well.

If you notice in pro play (which doesn't always present the most optimal soloq situation, keep in mind) teams usually have their dedicated tank top lane and put a bruiser in the Jungle. They want their jungler to have some damage to bring to ganks, so that they can be sure the target dies. This is why you see so much J4, Vi, RekSai, and Lee Sin. They provide the right mix of damage, utility, and defense that a jungler needs to make plays around the map.

Wukong fits in that list perfectly well, too, in my opinion. He's got plenty of damage/utility/defense, but again he has to go b after his first clear which makes him undesirable for the highest echelons of LoL play.

And 'using his clone as bait' is only the tip of the iceberg. There's so much trolly shit you can do it's why I haven't grown tired of maining Wukong for the past 3 seasons. Recently I've been amusing myself by pretending to be vulnerable then cloning at the last moment to block an ability (Cait ult, Blitz/Thresh hook, Morgana Q, etc)

You shouldn't worry about what other people think of you playing a certain champion. Try them all out and see who you like. People get annoyed when I pick LeeSin , Nunu , and Fiddlesticks , but they are still my favorite champs to play.

I'm attempting to leave the holy trinity alone (except Vi) because half the time the enemy team will pick them, and everyone's played with them so much that they can outplay someone of my skill level easily.

It's like Blitz. You can only get grabbed by him so much before you smarten up. At least people underestimate Nunu and Fiddlesticks.

AoE clears, a shield, and enhanced AAs. With even a semi-decent leash and 1 pot she can full clear + crab no problem. Back, grab Trailblazer's and AP book. Go forth my friend. If she gets fed, she will assassinate the hell out of folks.

Also, confirming Skarner is a beast. Best part is I get to spam "Get over here!" in all chat after every successful ulty gank. Honestly, that should be automatic for him.

Pantheon Literally my favorite jungler.

So easy to learn and play, the one core thing that seperates a bronze pantheon and a good pantheon are his ult positions and build paths.

I like to jungle as Nunu although his ganks are pretty bad, he can solo drag at level 5 as long as its not contested . Olaf Warwick Pantheon all these can also jungle and i feel like they would rarely be banned. But what do i know i dont play ranked

Skarner . He's a beast, nobody plays him and he does so much damage while being pretty much tanky. Can clear jungle as healthy as Warwick (really, I tried it with my cousin). He has some downsides, too. He doesn't have strong ganks pre-6 if you can't hit your slow and he has no gapcloser. Another bruiser jungle that is underrated but very strong may be Hecarim . And Rammus is a pure tank, he can't do much damage. You said you're looking for bruisers, right?

You can build Olaf bruiser, he's really fun to play. he can even solo dragon at lvl 3 after clearing bottom side of jungle! However, he falls off a little lategame, so he may not be the best choice.

Fair enough, but you'd be surprised how many times Master Tier players get grabbed by Blitz hooks.

Honestly you should try some games as full damage Elise before assuming she is bad. You can still one shot any squishy champion and shred tanks. The only problem I have ever run into with her is that you need to stay in spider form more than human to conserve your mana.

My favorite build on her is item 3020 item 3708 item 3151 item 3089 item 3135 then finishing with item 3001 or item 3157

Sion. He can clear the whole jungle before backing, stacks tons of health by killing monsters, and has incredible teamfight presence. His early ganks are mediocre though. Also, I almost always ult from fairly close range just because people can dodge it pretty easily. I pretty much build him full tank except for maybe a Black Cleaver.

so diana is not exactly the best, but ive been using her as a fallback. you can build her lots of ways, splitpush/ap bruiser/burstymage/even semi-tank. Her stats are well rounded, however her ganks pre-6 suck, and she has mana issues. not saying this is a fix, but try it.
