Tips for playing passive

So I played a game yesterday where my Nasus top somehow died in the first minute,(I don't know how, i was just looking at the mini map), but I don't fret over first bloods, but then I was looking at my mini map again and saw Nasus approaching his outer turret and i took my eyes of the mini map to focus on my lane. A few seconds later, he died again somehow. The same thing happened a third time and he dc. Today i played with an Ashe who couldn't handle her opponent, but kept trying to push and died repeatedly and feeding the opponent until he was godlike. Rather then flaming unintentional feeders, I would like to give a simple tip to help against a better opponent. Now I'm not always better than my lane opponent so I use this tip too which is why I almost never feed. The tip is, JUST HUG YOUR TURRET. If its the first 10 minutes, your opponent shouldn't be tanky enough to dive you, unless its Fiora. This should help to stop fast feeding. This tip works. Feel free to add to this tip.

i am going to explain to you all cause last time i had someone doing this i told him hugg turret and vayne replied AND NOT CS ??????????

ok here it is with my terrible grammar feel free to transelate this if you understand it

during the laning phase the goal is to get as much gold as possbile while not giving the other laner as much as possible so that you are stronger afther the laning phase and most importandly keep your tower alive

so if you lose once you go back in he now will be stronger than last time you lost even if it was a close one last time he will most likely beat you over and over again getting stronger and eventualy be able to even kil you under tower and take your tower

so when teamfighting starts the enemy laner will have 4 kills 100 cs and a tower making him really strong and your team has to deal with this while you have 40 cs making you verry weak

now if you had listend to this guy and farmed under turret the enemy laner would have gotten 100 cs maybe a kil and no tower while your at 40 cs this means your team will have a much easier time shutting him down and youl be able to catch up easier making you not totaly worthless

The day I decided to seriously put some time into learning how to farm under tower effectively was huge in terms of my development as a player. It's not something you can just decide to be good at, though. You have to put some time into learning it. Just be mindful that it is possible to get 80%-100% of the CS while under turret.

The way I learned was on Gangplank. Since he gets out dueled/traded by a lot of people and farm is super important for him, I had to learn to farm under turret. I feel like a way better player now.

I'd like to add that "hug turret" actually means standing BEHIND IT, not beside it or in front of it inside its aggro range. You think you're safe at 60% hp under your turret at level 5 until some level 6 walks past, blows you to hell, and flashes out (Annie, Zed, Wukong, Kat, LeBlanc, etc). Or you get rooted or yanked out or Malzahar'ed or whatever.
