Riot can you make the screen zoom out when using Vel'Koz's ultimate? Vel'Koz's ultimate, Life Form Dinsintegration Ray, has 1550 range and it's hard to see the end of it. It lowers the accuracy of max range ults. Also riot can you remove the mini map during Vel'Koz's ultimate so players don't accidentally target a spot on the map instead of the bottom right corner? Who uses the mini map for Vel'Koz's ultimate anyway?

I also don't know how to move camera down, I can move it up, left ,right with courser but down never works for some reason. Is there a way u can move it down or drag screen instead??

Vanic99825 votesYes you can move the screen but in crucial moments, my cursor isn't always at the edge of screen when I ultimate. For me to move the screen my cursor would have to already be at the edge of my screen. Moving my screen while moving my ultimate would make things more complicated than they have to be. I think zooming out, at least just a little bit, would help a lot.

rtbf2256182412 votesOkay but i've missed a lot of my targets when they go out of vision range and i can't follow with my mouse cuz it's either a locked camera or it moves completely out of place as i move it on the edge of the screen without pushing it too far.
It would just be a nice QoL feature if they zoomed it out a bit.

That's the problem right there. Don't use your cursor to move the screen. Invest in a good macro keyboard and you can use your left thumb instead on a d-pad or analogue stick to move the screen. I use this. They're sold by Razor now instead of Belkin. But they've been around since before WoW or LoL was even a thing.

Alleo4 votesI'm a Vel'Koz main and used to be a Vel'Koz one trick mid and I've never had any issues with his ult. I just think zoom would cause more harm than good because his ult would be 1/3 finished by the time it got to the full zoom out.

Vanic9988 votesYou're right. I remember that too. Players wanted Xerath's ultimate to zoom out too but riot said that zooming out that far would cause lag. Vel'Koz's ultimate however has less range than Jhin and Xerath so I don't think it should be a problem.
Pew Pew Lasers2 votesWhat riot needs to do is get rid of the annoying view angle. You have reduced vision in the left and bottom sides of the screen which is givin to the top and right side of the screen.
This is why I've always found this game stupid. The screen intentionally favors the blue team because the red team doesn't even have a 180 degree version. There is no camera adjustments other than offsetting the screen which doesn't do a whole lot and only serves to blind you further just to get a little extra left bot vision.
