Tips & Tricks for pre-30 Jungle...

Have you ever wanted to just let loose on a newbie and tell them what is what? With this thread you can! I'm StefNBennett and I'm a returning player starting from scratch and I'm seeking advice and friends. The advice I'm looking for involves the Jungle before level 30. Do you want to help me out?

I've hit level 10 and am thinking of taking up one of four as a cheap jungler to hold me off until I hit a higher level: Amumu, MasterYi, Nasus and Nunu. The problem is I've no idea ( with all the changes to the Jungle ) how to go about starting my clear or if low-level jungling is even possible anymore. I'm hoping to find some interesting yet generic tips & tricks here that I'll be able to snowball into more specific questions here on this board.

In addition to what I've already stated I'm looking for in the last paragraph I'm also hoping to find a few players in a similar situation to myself and/or more experienced players of a similar level ( I won't discriminate against you because your skin is blue ) who'd be willing to just play some games with me on occasion without flaming, raging and the like. I earlier said I'm a returning player starting from scratch and I meant it: my mechanical play is very raw along with my game-knowledge. If you're in a similar boat to myself and looking for somebody to re-learn the game with feel free to shoot me a contact request; I look forward to playing some games with you.

:) Hi there; that is a great point to make but I'll be using a mix of T1 and T2 runes. I know most people say they are a waste of cash but the T1 runes ( excluding quints which are always higher than the other low tier runes ) are only 5 IP each and the T2 runes are 35 IP each ( 45 IP for the runes levels 1-9, 100 IP for a quint at 10, 315 IP for 9 T2 runes from 11-19 ) which means they are much more affordable than people realize. With that said I agree Nunu is a solid choice and the same runes I'd use on him ( AS Marks/quint for Nunu's passive ) I'd also use on Master Yi.

How would you play your Nunu, Tyson?

I main the jungle and nunu is one of my leasth favorite picks

I did have a few good games with her where i put my main focus on setting the enemy jumgler behind being this verry anoying uncatcheble tank wich takes all their camps and buffs even if there on it

The most importand item he needs for this is white smite the counter jungling one

I personaly like junglers that can do more early on such as elise or reksai Where if id had to pick a tank id rather pick sejuani than nunu cause she can become pretty much unkilleble aswel yet she has decent ganks at 3

If you want my opinion on masteries to help you clear faster, it all depends on which champion you pick, Amumu and Nunu are tanks, that means most of your points in masteries should be put in the defense tree, that will make you more tanky therefor more sustain. For an assassin like MasterYi , most of your points should go in the offence tree, dealing more damage and clearing faster, but that will cost you some armor, that mean you will clear faster, but will take more damage. For the fighters such as Nasus , it all depends on your playstyle, you need a tank? Put more points into the defence tree, you want more damage? focuse on the offence tree.

runeless, the safest picks would be Warwick and Nunu . MasterYi is an easy jungle to play but without armor runes to mitigate damage and attack speed ones to lower your Q cd and proc krugs faster, you will be dangerously low after your second camp (unless you got a good leash on your first). Heimerdinger and Shaco have very easy early clears runeless too, though i find them difficult overall which is why I don't play them.
