Diamond 5 losing 30lp?
I was wondering if there is anything I can do I gain 7-11 Lp per win and then end up losing 30LP from a loss! What can I do to change this? If I keep winning games will it eventually go back to normal?

Here's how I understand mmr:
Having a 50% winrate is not how you climb. If you're in the 80% percentile, you should be winning 80% of the time. Or at least I think that's how the system goes? The higher your rank, the harder it is to climb.

I think ti also means you're mmr is lower than where you are at. So losing more than you gain may be a sign of the system thinking you don't deserve to be where you are. Who knows man.
Your hidden MMR is too low for d5
Unless you start winning more than you lose it's trying to kick you out (you have to fall really far down plat to drop out of a tier like diamond though)
You're probably playing against platinum players and other diamond 5's
The opposite happens when your MMR is too high for your division, you gain a lot, loss minimal. It means even if you settle at a 50% win rate* for the moment* your division will change.
MMR just changes faster usually, LP system lags behind so it's sure you deserve your rating.
Lol, you should know about MMR by the time you reach diamond xD
obviously your mmr is much lower than your current division. Expect to be demoted to plat 1 if you keep losing games at 0 LP.
