"Generalized" rune pages?

So, as I've only been playing since March, I only have 3 rune pages with WAYYYY too many champions to have them all suitable. I was hoping someone could give me some ideas for 3 rune pages that would go as well as possible in a general idea of things. I'm thinking AD/AP/Tank, but that's only a starting point. It'd just be stupid of me to do flat AP/AD/and armor/mr runes. What would be some good ideas to at least get me through until I can get more pages?

Don't know about a tank page (I've been busy getting champions), but for two good generalized rune pages that work on every champion are:

AP: flat Magic Pen reds, flat Armor yellows, flat MR blues, flat AP Quints AD: flat AD reds, flat Armor yellows, flat MR blues, and then the Quints are flexible from flat AD to AS to MS (on mine, as I main Quinn ADC, I have them a bit specialized for her, with 2 flat Armor Pen and 1 Crit chance Quint)

Those two rune pages will work on every champion. They may not be the best optimized (for instance, taking the AP page with Leona support, when probably some more defense stats would work better), but they will get the job done.

Just some theory crafting, here's an idea for a tank page. The main things you are going to want are Armor, MR, CDR, and then either health, or a generalized damage that fits with the champs you have. Most tanks are AP, so for a generalized AP tank page

AP tank: Flat MR reds, Armor per level yellow, CDR per level and MR per level blues (probably something like 5 CDR, 4 MR), and then maybe scaling health quints

No idea how well this one would actually work, it's just purely theory crafting, based on just the list of runes.
