love playing xerath but is it just me or does he feel a little different after the changes to the regen stats. its like he runs out of mana faster now then he use too. even with chalice he runs out of mana so much faster. its bin a while since I've played as xerath so i can't tell if nothing has changed and his mana sustain is the same or not.
One thing you need to try and keep up on, is his passive. Use it everytime that it comes up, and especially try and auto attack a champion because it'll restore double the mana. As long as you can keep up with that passive, you shouldn't have any mana problems. :)
Like Syraii said, your passive is huge. The poke and stuns from Xerath are incredible, but you are right, he runs out of mana quickly if it is not managed correctly. Yes, everyone could argue that those skills of managing cooldowns and mana costs come with time, and they are correct, but things are much, much easier if you simply auto a minion or even better, a champion at every opportunity your passive comes up.
