How do I get to gold?

I need serious advice on getting to gold. I want to improve enough just to be in gold. I need tips especially for mid lane and support since those are my most played roles.

I'm currently in silver 2.

Play your best champions, play aggressive, out farm your opponent. Basically just crap on your opponent. If you can't do that then you won't be able to move on to the next division. Don't do anything risky, meaning if there is no vision on where their jungler is then don't push out. You want to minimize death. The reason you die is because lack of vision. If you do have vision of their jungler you're not going to win a 2 v 1 95% of the time so don't do it. Thats about it to get to Gold.

Playing Aggressive and using your summoner spells/items is crucial to winning mid lane! Also don't play Cassiopeia in your rank. She's a high risk, high reward but requires basically the god reflex and perfect landing on every skill in order to win.

  • Watch your CS. How are you doing vs your opponent? Outfarming is just as important as kills. Aim for 80 at 10 mins

  • Ward your side brushes to prevent getting ganked

  • Try to always keep enough mana to do one full spell rotation, that way you always have your escape (if you have one) or can kill given the opportunity

  • Look for a chance to roam. Did your opponent back? Are you playing a wave clear champ that can push the enemy into tower so you can roam?

  • Try to die the least amount possible. If you're keeping your wards up you shouldn't have too much of a problem

  • Play something you're good at and you enjoy! You're more likely to climb focusing on one champ over and over. That way you don't have to worry about mechanics and can focus on your macro gameplay

One thing that nobody says is watch your trades with the enemy. When the enemy retreats from a trade you can land a few more hits, be careful how you do this though.

I'm currently climbing as well! :D

Play the op champs, I usually look up the "god tier" champions and then I choose one of them and grind wth them. Then I just play them in ranked. My brother decided to do this, he chose Annie and decided to get to gold with her. Sure enough he went on a pretty big hot streak with Annie and ended up getting to gold 5. He went 11 and 1 in ranked with Annie. If you want to look him up his name is xmonsterbitex. It's just a suggestion to climb but this could take you to gold.

Don't know if I'm late here but the best advice I can give you is look up strats find something you do well and make a game plan to win your games from the start. Changing as needed. For me Warwick Top split pushing is what got me into gold. Had like a 65% win rate with him last season. I had a plan I knew when I was strong when I was weak and how to win or deal with most of my matchups. I knew many champs would zoned me to tower so I learned how to get that cs under tower. I knew when I hit my power spike so I'd go from passive to very aggressive on people and net kills. I knew I wanted to split when I got ahead and I knew when I was going to group to close games. I found something I did well and I abused it. I had a plan before the game started and I executed that plan and let me team know. Any champ can get you to gold and having a good idea of how you're going to win other then "I'm gonna kill the other team over and over again" can make a huge difference. Most people know what to do when they have a lead the good players know what to do when they're behind. Good luck out there.
